Prediction: correct Johnson   wrong Submission   wrong Round 2

I'm really impressed with Tim Elliott and impressed with the reserve of DJ during adversity again. I pussed out of my Elliott pick but only because I thought later on that DJ could escape the submission attempts which I thought was Tim's best shot and it almost was. I think this fight solidifies my position though that Jon Jones is clearly the best, by weight class or resume.

Jon Jones would not have been almost finished by a guy not even in the Top 10 at the time of the fight. Jon Jones has barely lost a few rounds let alone almost get finished or lose a fight. We can all hate Jon together as a person but as a fighter it's time for people to let the bias towards that go and judge him as a fighter when it comes to skill and record.

I disagree. For one thing Jon Jones used PEDs, which Johnson never did.  We should see how Jon Jones looks moving forward, since to be honest he did not look nearly as formidable against OSP.  I believe this trend will continue upon his return. I also don't believe he would have beaten Gus and Cormier, particularly Cormier with out the use of PEDs. In both fights he won due to coming on strong in later rounds, which I find very interesting, and suspect he would not of had that type of energy with out the use of PEDs.  This is the same dude who got caught with inhumanly low Testosterone levels, which are clear indication of using performance enhancing substances, and then got caught with two substances used while cycling PEDs. People are kidding them self, if they think Jones was clean during his entire career. Even the commission did not by it and throw the book at him. So personally, I think this needs to be consider when the greatest ever conversation is brought up and that we need to see how well he does upon his return.  I personally have GSP as number 1, followed by Mighty Mouse, but each his own.

There's no way for you or I to possibly know that, that's just subjective hot air. Plus what Jon tested positive for came from his off brand Cialis type male enhancement and thus a reduced sentence. So *** are you talking about?

Such ********, there's no way for you to know he has or that this recent failed test was from PEDs.

@Franklin the reason Jon struggles against OSP is the same reason he struggled against Gus. I think it has less to do with PEDs and more to do with reach. Those are the two fighters with th closest reach to Jon and he isn't use to dealing with that. It's a range issue. He is so use to being able to hit people while remaining far out of reach but it's very easy for Gus and OSP to close that range where others can't.

@MikeG

I think your one gullible dude if you believe that it came from off brand Cialis.  All Jones team proved is that off brand Cialis, had those substances in it. They never proved he took Cialis, they just proved that off brand Cialis, has those substances in it.  Which then makes the max sentence 1 year, since you provided a product not on the banned list, which has the substances you popped for. However when the commission believes you like in dirty birds case, you get 6 months, when they don't believe your story, u get the max sentence like Jones of 1 year.  Jones because he has a crisis management team and the money, was able to find a substance that he could blame his failure on. Which is also why it took quite awhile for Jones team to even state what he failed for.  Also what explains having 5 times less testosterone then a normal man in his previous fight against cormier?  If it looks shady, it normally is shady.  You can have your head in the sand and by a ******** story, all you want instead of looking at what is.   Just like when people swore the primary was not being rigged against Bernie Sanders despite all the evidences suggesting it was.  Then wikileaks provided 100% evidence it was.  When something looks shady, it normally is.  I for one am of the opinion that the evidence is more then enough to suggest Jon Jones was a PED user and personally don't need to be spoon fed, to realize it.  I believe his legacy has been tainted thus far and will see what happens when he comes back, because I have a strong feeling, he will never be as formidable as he once was.  I suspect him to lose some fights/rematches that may surprise some people

@BigJ

I agree size is a factor for sure, but I believe lack of PEDs, is also large factor.  Will see moving forward if I am correct or not, but I agree the size clearly caused him an issue since he use to being out of range.  Also personally thought Jones looked slower and less explosive then in past fights.

Reach was definitely a factor.
