Honestly, I didn't see this coming.

UFC Statement on Brock Lesnar

"The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 28, 2016. USADA received the testing results from the June 28, 2016 sample collection from the WADA-accredited UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory on the evening of July 14, 2016.

"USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. The Nevada State Athletic Commission also retains jurisdiction over this matter as the sample collection was performed in close proximity to Lesnar’s bout at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.

"Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward."

It always baffles me that they do tests late enough to where they "can't" get the results till just days after the fight.

Well, I guess, that's that. When it comes to Brock in the UFC any further.

Meh, PEDs should be required in the heavyweight division.

Not surprising but disappointing nonetheless. More so since Lesnar actually looked competitive in the fight.

Meh, not surprised one bit. He looked bigger and more toned at 39, 5 years after the last time he had to train for a fight than he ever did during his MMA career. I don't think he even took them for this fight in particular, I just think he had so many in him for WWE stuff he just couldn't get it all out of his body in time (nor do I think he cared too much if he didn't).

In fact, I'm pretty sure when they set this fight he told them "listen guys, I'm gonna try and cycle off, but there's a huge chance I piss hot" and they, with just how bad UFC 200 was going to sell in mind said "**** it, it's one fight, come, sell some PPVs and get popped".

Brock was on the card for one thing and one thing only, to make a ****load of money and save the card from busting. He wasn't making a title run, he wasn't launching a second career, he wasn't even going to fight once more if you ask me.

Mark Hunt has a point (see tweet).

Someone tell me why fighters forfeit 20% for missing weight (small adv) but forfeit 0% for using PED's (big adv)?

@mikeyg  Barring some kind of miracle with the B test, I will give you cred.

Edit: However, I still want to know what he tested for before jumping to conclusions.

Just another case, not the first and definitely not the last one.
