Rumored co-main for UFC 197 in Washington State. Good double-header.

Think the pace of DJ is going to be too much and he finishes Cejudo late.

Hard to say on who wins. I think it may end up being like Jones vs DC.

I don't think Cejudo is as good as DC, not yet anyway, while Johnson is incredibly well rounded and could cause problems for Cejudo anywhere. I hope Cejudo surprises me and at least makes this competitive because god the flyweight division needs CPR.

Should be a fun, competitive fight, but I see a solid 50-45, maybe a 49-46 for DJ all the way here.

KD, I could see it that way , too.  You never know when you have a Olympic gold medalist, though.  They are capable of learning almost anything.

If DJ wins convincingly, and I expect him to, I hope he moves up to face the Dillashaw/Cruz winner.  There is nothing left for him @ flyweight.  I actually think they are rushing Cejudo a little due to the lack of competition for mighty mouse.

It's going to be interesting to see who is able to score in between takedown attempts. I think a big part of where the fight is won will be who is able to connect when they separate.

Cejudo is way too green for Johnson. This won't be a close fight.

Mighty Mouse has had trouble with big, strong, wrestlers before. This could be an interesting fight if he Cejudo has his cardio up to par.

I'm not sure I agree with that.

He had some trouble with McCall, who he owned in the rematch. He lost to Cruz, who is much bigger and way more versatile than Cejudo. Cejudo can't mix it up like Cruz can. ****, I don't think he can mix it up like McCall can.

Not to mention, those fights were a long time ago at this point. What other evidence could you point to to suggest he has trouble with wrestlers?

Cejudo's wrestling is great sure, but his overall game is way to underdeveloped to deal with maybe the most versatile fighter on the planet.

Demetrious will totally overwhelm him. Cejudo won't know where it's coming from next.

Cejudo is good but he's not the level of Benavides, Bagotinov and Dodson. Johnson all kick their ass!

@AnAlias Well he did get outwrestled and iirc kinda dominated by Brad Pickett in what was mostly a wrestling match iirc,so he has gotten beaten there clearly before. It's an absolutely moot point since DJ is about a million times better than he was then.A lot of iirc's,maybe I should watch the fight again!

Cejudo get's better every fight, and we know he's obviously the "rise to the occassion" type, unfortunately for him so does MM which is kinda crazy since he's so good already.I think if either own the edge in mma wrestling I have to say it's for sure Mighty Mouse because he is so perfect at mixing his td's with strikes while Cejudo is waaay behind him in that departement,he couldn't even use his wrestling vs Chico Camus.I think MM clearly wins and wins in every department while Cejudo puts up as good a fight he can so early in his career.I think MM beats him clearly, possibly finishing, then eventually Cejudo get's a rematch or fights for a title that Mighty Mouse vacates, loses,or he retires.

@Hyrm I think he has a higher ceiling than Benevidez,Ali and possibly Dodson,so by the time he'd fight any of them it would be another year from now. Then it might not matter if they are better than him right now if that's even the case.I'd have a hard time picking those fights right now and Cejudo's the one improving while Benevidez and Ali look the same or maybe even worse imo.ps I wasn't the one that downvoted you.

Unfortunately MM could fight at 115 =/ I would like to see him do maybe a fight every once in a while at 135 till another solid contender comes but I think eventually there's always someone that will make sense. There's guys like Ray Borg who's only 22,should be undefeated, imo lost a BS decision on very short notice to Dustin Ortiz who's a highly ranked guy in his debut, and has rattled off 3 wins in the UFC after that. The kid is a magician on the ground and has tons of potential.Ben Nguyen has looked awesome.Smolka has a ton of potential,Dodson and him could throw down again, now there is Cejudo, more guys get signed all the time,a guy that has had mixed results vs the top could go on a run.

Cruz or Dillashaw could move down to fight for the title (I know they are big) or some other top 135'ers.To me I never say a division is cleaned out cause I just don't really believe in it.I wouldn't mind seeing Johnson move up but at the same time I don't think he should, maybe just for a superfight then back down. That's just me though and I totally understand people wanting to see him tested more he's just so dominant,I just think people should stay in their weightclass if they are champs.

Regardless of his opponents level, I think DJ is content fighting at 125 and trying to break Anderson Silva's title defense record. Unless the UFC are going to pay him more to fight at 135 or they abolish the FlyW division all together, I don't think DJ will pursue any fight at BW. Regardless of what the fans want.

I really do think DJ's greatness is underappreciated. Unfortunately I believe his biggest fights will be at 135. I wouldn't mind seeing John Liniker at 135. I believe DJ said he would take that fight at 135 and Liniker is really in between the weight classes right now. Of course that would be dependent on how he does in his fight in Pittsburgh against Garbrandt.
