Barnatt has finally signed with another fight promotion and he choose a young Italian promotion - Venator FC. VFC has only put on 5 shows so far and their version of The Ultimate Fighter. The TUF-like tournament had middleweights; the winner of that tournament was Mattia "Aittam" Schiavolin. Barnatt and Schiavolin will fight for the title on December 12.

If his goal, which he stated, is to get back to the UFC, signing with Bellator would be the worst possible choice. Not only are their contracts tough to get out of, but the UFC would see it as a slap in the face most likely.

Signing with the (probably) top paying competitor is seen as a slap in the face by a promotion that cut a guy? Cutting the guy wasn't a slap in the face? **** the UFC get paid Luke.
