What's up guys? We got a pretty solid team so far I think.

Griffy

Right now leaning toward The Roc Pile as a team name in honor of J Roc from Trailer Park Boys. This will be the place to discuss fights, strategy, and all things BLC related. As long as you make your picks for all the counting BLC Events you won't hear any complaints from me. If you pick the entire weekend competition it will be helpful as bonus points are rewarded for finishes in the top 30 I believe. Also there's a "berserker" option this season. Each team gets one designated berserker per week and that persons picks are eligible for bonus points or some **** like that. I went ahead and made Hunterp the berserker for the first week. He generally picks everything, and at a very high level.

As of right now, with only the TUF Finale tonight left to go we have a 30 point lead on team Joe Kerr. We are the top scoring team of the week right now, and they're a close second. All comes down to tonight.

Do you get points weekly for this or is it over several weeks?

I will. I do every weekend contest now. I wish I started the weekend contests from the beginning. I would have been at least a spider belt by now.

You'll get there quick enough homie. We tend to have a **** ton more fights now than we used to, and you pick pretty damn well.

On an unrelated subject. It's event voting time for this week. I figured I'd post the options in here, let you guys know what I was thinking and see what you guys thought.

Tier 1:

1.  UFC Fight Night 71:  Redundant reminder that this is Wednesday.
2.  UFC Fight Night 72
3.  Bellator 140

Tier 2:

4.  ONE FC 29:  Not sure what's going on with this card and have a message in to @Wish asking for clarification.  Sherdog has the remainder of the card filled out with 0-0 fighters.
5.  Titan FC 34

Tier 3:

6.  Legacy FC 43:  Dropped one tier due to ammy fights.
7.  DEEP Cage Impact 2015

Tier 4:

8.  W.I.N. Fighting Championships:  Would seem to be a pretty solid card for a slower weekend.
9.  CFFC 50:  Likely to be moving to Tier 3 pending the vote, a decent top half with some filler toward the bottom of the card.
10.  MMA Summer Showdown 2:  No idea how the rest of this card will be filled out.  Just here because Hallman.

So, right now I think 1-7 are all pretty much no brainers and should be voted in. My personal vote is for 1-7 and 9.

Anyone have any problems with those, or want 8 or 10 included? Speak up! Let your voices be heard!

That card is personally too riddled with fighters with poor records for my liking. If the other guys want it on though I'll vote for it. Democracy up in this motha****a.

It was a nice try, you managed to be the only team to even come within a couple hundred points our score. That being said you still became our first scalp of the season, better luck next time.

Took a tough loss this week by 25 points despite being the second highest scoring team in the league. These are the events that are required for week 2:

1.  UFC Fight Night 71
2.  UFC Fight Night 72
3.  Bellator 140
4.  ONE FC 29
5.  Titan FC 34
6.  Legacy FC 43
7.  DEEP Cage Impact 2015
8.  W.I.N. Fighting Championships

And remember that UFC Fight Night 71 is on Wednesday night, so get those picks in.

Titan fc looks interesting as it has former fighters from both the ufc and Bellator.

Everyone's locked and loaded for UFC tonight other than Griffy, but I'm sure he'll get his picks in.
