Right now leaning toward The Roc Pile as a team name in honor of J Roc from Trailer Park Boys. This will be the place to discuss fights, strategy, and all things BLC related. As long as you make your picks for all the counting BLC Events you won't hear any complaints from me. If you pick the entire weekend competition it will be helpful as bonus points are rewarded for finishes in the top 30 I believe. Also there's a "berserker" option this season. Each team gets one designated berserker per week and that persons picks are eligible for bonus points or some **** like that. I went ahead and made Hunterp the berserker for the first week. He generally picks everything, and at a very high level.

is there any way to talk about fights more private than in open forum (of course to those who are interested to discuss)?? I think I have Griffy's email still if he has same as he used to have.

@alienator I'm not sure how we'd go about it. I mean, I don't mind to post my email address, but I know there's a few guys on the team that don't really check the forums. This is why I really really wish Tapology had a private messaging option. Twitter would be another option. Other than that, all I can think of would be email, or posting on each others profiles. I honestly don't think teams will have their minds changed about picks based on us talking about the fights, but I could be wrong. But yeah, I have no problem sharing my email and twitter. Just depends on how you guys decide you want to do it. We've got a few days to figure it out still.

I'm pumped for this season of BLC! We have a great team here! @CthulhuJones , ya like alienator13 said, JoeKerr had an email chat going with everyone on the team. It was handy having last season because some people are more knowledgeable than others, especially when it comes to different promotions around the world.

First time in this BLC competition. Just pick those five events and that's it? Just so you know, I also do the weekend competition every week for added points.

Yes sir, as long as you pick those five events you'll be good to go for the first week. If you pick all the fights for the week it will only help us in the long run.

I was going to stop picking every card after this weekend but with the new rule in BLC it looks like my "retirement" will be postponed. And while I'm happy to be on the team, I can't promise that i won't just disappear in the middle of the season. I've been really bored by MMA recently and spending hours researching bush league cards doesn't help the case.

My path to start winning weekend competitions is clearing ... once @hunterp retires I'll only need to assassinate @joe and @djcloud (after this season of course) and I'll be winning those babies in no time :)

Awwww ****, a great beast has awoken. I'm really glad you're willing to postpone that retirement, and I will be following you on twitter now. Thanks for being a part of the team and being willing to postpone your retirement. I've captained a BLC team 3 times now, it's about time I was part of a winning team. If you do decide to go AWOL in the middle of the season it's understandable and I won't hold it against you. I'll just pretend you are your AV and have a crush on you.

I have gotten somewhat bored with mma too but I am a guy of habit so I will not finish something I started.
