Predictions: 13 of 18 Winners, 3 Perfect, 795 Points | 8th Place
A few fun things about this card.
First of all, 2 title fights!
Tommy "The Spaniard" Aaron will defend his recently won 145 UoMMA belt facing "Surge the Kid" Perez who submitted Albert Veloz in UoMMA: FN 8 in 58 seconds to earn the shot (same card Tommy won the belt by defeating Cameron Underhill in 3 hard fought rounds).
Also Roman "The Gladiator" Todorovich will defend his welterweight title against the guy he won it from (after 1 successful defense). Jarett Conner says he's a different fighter than the guy who lost to Todorovich the first time and expects to win his belt back.
Additionally, UoMMA are having a 4-man tournament for the recently vacated (by Derion "DC" Chapman who decided to go pro - 0-2 so far, with his last loss a vicious with Erick Gonzalez' elbow at BAMMA Badbeat 14) 155 strap that starts on this event. Talented up and comer Julio Lopez will face Pious "Voodoo" Enilolobo Jr. and AJ Lavarias will be fighting late replacement Lance "Vanquish" Lee (who was already scheduled to fight on this card and was bumped up following a very late injury to original opponent TJ Scot). The winners will clash for the 155 belt.
Other than that, a plethora of California's finest amateurs such as "Scorpio Sky" Andrews, Thom "The Beast" Landeros. highly touted peospect Richie Meister, Ryan "The Lion" Lilley and my personal prospect to watch Daria "The Jersey Devil" Berenato finally meeting an opponent outside the Perez family (see her wiki for info on that ;) ).
All in all, if you like ammy MMA or are in the area, this is a very good card to watch.
Haven't see any sort of stream anywhere, so if anyone's got wind of a LEGAL stream for this event, please post here.
