The atmosphere actually seems pretty crummy for a fight of this magnitude. Only like.. 500 people in attendance are fans. The rest of the crowd is rich/higher-up people and celebrities, who would not care about boxing on any other night. Really takes away a whole lot of the atmosphere. The atmosphere at the weigh-ins was quite intense, but that was mostly fans.

@MikeLovesTacosXD  Are you really surprised though?  This boxing event is only getting the kind of popularity that it's getting because of the name value of both Mayweather and Pacquiao as fighters, as well as all the polarizing ******** with the negotiations over money.  If the fight that took place tonight was between Canelo Alvarez and Adrien Broner, do you think it would draw the same kind of attention?

I will say that if this fight happened 5-7 years earlier (like it was supposed to), I think it wouldn't have been as polarized as it has become.  I think the social stigma that was added to this fight that came from those ridiculous, drawn out negotiations over the business side of this fight would have been gone; which in turn would have, in my opinion, made the atmosphere for the fight more like what most combat sports fans are used to.

Leo Santa Cruz just needs to fight Rigondeux already. When or lose he'll finally get a legit ******* fight, but because of Al Haymon, he'll keep fighting no-names like Cayetano. Got to say Lomachenko looked great.

It'll be so epic if Pacman wins. Mayweather has probably got this though.

Because Tecate offered $13.5 million for sponsorship. Budweiser was less than $10 million.

Round 3 went a little better for Pacquiao.  Mayweather is still up at least 2-1 though.
