Last night, local mma fighter and Tapology member Dan "King" Kiser was badly injured in his 145lb title defense.
Dan took two upkicks from Frank Johnson, told the ref he was ok, went for a leglock, then went unconscious.
He was airlifted to a local hospital, was stabilized, and has had surgery to reduce swelling on his brain.
He has yet to wake up.

He has woken up and is making great strides.
He was never airlifted- he was taken by ambulance.

Just got off the phone with Dans dad. He is awake, alert, responsive and has been taken off life support!!!!!
He still has a long way to go, but He continues to fight like the champion he is
