i dont see hendo leaving...def would need to renegotiate his contract with a loss though. i dont see fedor/m1 fighting for less money win or lose so.....

i think he missed his op to make mega dollars in the ufc.....which is a shame. however, i could really care less at this point unless something changes

I dont think Fedor will ever come to the UFC he somehow always manages to find a way to avoid the worlds best promotion, he is running out of options though, Hendo probably would sign which I would love to see, if the option was open after either was canned from Strikeforce

Hendo has already said he wants to defend his SF belt once or twice and then a unification bout with Jones...Not sure thats a good career move for Hendo these days!!

I think Fedor will win then retire after the fight if not maybe go to another smaller promotion

I think zuffa does have the balls to release their LHW champ if he loses to fedor. Its all about money, and hendo is making 800,000 grand. I think fedor is getting 1.5 million so you know zuffa is looking for any reason to cut him to. With zuffa now owning strikeforce, theres not many place left for these 2 guys to go. No way in hell bellator can afford to pay either of these guys anything close to what they are getting now. And dream hasent even payed their fighters from 3 events ago. Hendo still wants to fight so hes most likely to accept a pay cut if it means having a job in the ufc/strikeforce. Fedor on the other hand has no problems with being cut and going out and finding another organization to leech off of. I think the new ProElite promotion will be the most likely destination for whoever gets released, and they might just be dumb enough to give into fedors insane demands.

they both are making way more money than they are worth to the company, i think hendo wins this fight and fedor retires. if fedor wins i think hendo goes back to the ufc....if they both stay there going to make considerable less money, and i don't think fedor is willing to make what he's worth

If fedor loses maybe but not hendo. Hendo is in good with zuffa again and hes the champ moving up in weight to fight someone while on a win streak hes safe.

I really can't believe SF signed Hendo for 800 grand! *** were they thinking.
Win or lose, I don't even think Zuffa will give Fedor the option to negotiate a new contract since they've dealt with M1 before. They'd be quite happy to see him tying to get a million dollar contract with MFC or Bellator and failing miserably. It's a shame that we missed out on the great Fedor fights we could've seen in the UFC.
Hendo will settle for less just to keep fighting. He knows he's not going to get better money than Zuffa can give him.

Hendo will settle for less because he knows the lockerroom bonuses. I doubt strikeforce has those, or as big if they do.

I've heard this on some other forums (I only read never post it would hurt too much to betray Tapology) but supposedly their disclosed paydays are so high because Strikeforce doesn't give out discretionary (locker room) bonuses, an interesting theory although the validity is very unclear.
