I was still contemplating hitting up BWW to watch the fights due to Cormier/Evans, now I don't care enough to drop $25+ to see this card. Honestly, UFC should make it free. The PPV model won't work out well for them on this fight I don't think. Rousey's had good support on both her PPVs (Faber, Lawler/Koscheck & then obviously the Weidman/Silva fight on the other card), but I can't imagine she'll pull that much better than 147 (Silva/Franklin II card).

Cormier vs Sonnen is the biggest mismatch ever stylistically. You have a huge LHW, against a small LHW/middleweight, where both their strengths are wrestling.

I don't think they go all out 10 days before a fight. I think what happens in a lot of cases is a guy injures himself several weeks before a fight and tries to push through and overcome it. Then 10 days before the fight it has only become worse and is forced to get it checked out only to find it's much more serious then the fighter thought.
