Prediction: wrong Maynard wrong Decision

Sort of see both guys coming out more conservative than last time. Maynard will want to pace himself and not gas in the 4 and 5th, and Edgar won't want to repeat the in my opinion 10-7 beating again. I think this will be a more timid and tactical affair with Gray getting some nice shots in and playing top control whenever he can.

Really hard to pick. If Maynard wouldn't have had that 10-8 round I think he would have lost that fight. Edgar won all four rounds IMO. Have to go with Maynard to edge out a decision victory but not sold on it yet.

I've got Maynard. I thought he won the fight in January and the way he has been speaking about that fight he seems really up for it. Might even lay some cash on the very generous odds of him getting the KO

Much as I like Frankie, I'm going with Graynard. He'll be going back to the wrestling and he'll be cleaning up the mat with Edgar this time around. He'll take it 3 rounds to 2.

You're right about the fact he didn't finish, but that first round wasn't even close to a 10-8 that was 10-6 or even a 10-5 round

I've got Maynard by decision. I think he'll pace himself better and not go all out even if he hurts Frankie. Now that he's been into the championship rounds, Gray will try to blanket Frankie and slow down the fight rather go for the KO.

I think Edgar will take this, he'll do what he did with the Penn fights, have a close first fight, then be more dominant in the 2nd. Edgar via better boxing technique, learning form his last fight, and wrestling equal to that of maynard's

Just watched the UFC 125 fight again.
1. The first round was one of the most one sided things ive ever seen.
2. I dont know whether to stay with Frankie or go Maynard. Maynard did indeed absolutely destroy him in the first round and that could happen again. The argument can be made though thats what makes a champion; on the brink of defeat and somehow you dont go down. He fought far more capably after that round though.
3. Frankie spins more than the spinning top from Inception.
