Maynard looked a lot bigger than Frankie at the weigh-ins today, but I'm sticking with Edgar by decision.  I still feel like his camp will bring in the superior game plan that will lead to his victory.

It'll be Ben Henderson's belt soon either way! ;)

Ya I think Maynard wants this belt incredibly bad and will rely on his wrestling again to take the decision win.  And I think Edgar is just too small to do much about it.

I'm surprised at how many people have Edgar over Maynard on here.

I don't think it should be a surprise at all.  Frankie is a talented and under-rated fighter, especially considering he's the champion.  Maynard is definitely a tough guy, and has all the tools to beat Edgar, but at the same time Edgar has proven time and time again that he's tough, and capable of winning despite the odds.  Edgar's camp brought in the picture perfect game plan against BJ Penn, and Edgar was the underdog in that fight too.  Despite getting caught early, Frankie did a good job recovering, and put on a great fight with Maynard in their last meeting, which easily could have gone either way.

You should watch them they're always a good way to get a pre-fight perspective.

Also Florian looked more settled in this time, as last time he looked really drained.

BTW I loved the Pettis/Stephens staredown!

Prediction: correct Edgar   wrong Decision

Maynard is going to find himself trapped into a points game with Edgar, as i see Edgar being more elusive this time around, Edgar will find success with his speed and popshot his way to a hotly contested DEC win.

i just rewatched their second fight and although i\m sticking with my frankie be dec decision  i think he has a really good chance of finishing maynard.  he was looking for subs and was landing flush punches.  my side pot bet is frankie by 3rd tko

I picked Maynard.......and to be honest,  I have no clue why. Lol....these two fighters are warriors and it is really hard to say one is any better then the other. I think it comes down to what each fighter learned last time they fought.....which was a ridiculous fight ha! Maynard will come out a little better rounded and definitely in better shape then he was the last time. I hope he got rid of that tramp stamp too.....that thing really ****s with me. Come on Gray....there had to be a better tattoo option that day....right? My christ.
