A shame his conviction would make it virtually pointless for any North American promotion. He'd never get a visa for the US.

Yea its a weird situation. Fight Nights announced they're going back to Almaty, Kazakhstan on April 1st. Main event will be Tyson Nam vs Zhalgas Zhumagulov. Co-main is a grappling match under ADCC rules...Rasul Mirzaev vs Yerzhan Estanov. Thinking Rasul wants to use this as a possible showcase for other promotions to see him compete since being shot.

Via @sayatmma it seems Alexey Kunchenko has signed with PFL & will compete in their $1 million dollar tournament. Alexey is still scheduled to defend his title vs Alexander Butenko later this month.

Been looking forward to that Zhamaldaev - Frodo rematch. The first fight was a really good match where Zhamaldaev had a standout performance. Let's see if he can repeat that feat.
