Chris Leben just retired on the MMA hour.

Said he wants to 'gracefully' step away from the sport.

Always loved The Crippler, I hope he does well after fighting. Dana should put him in charge of a branded UFC gym or something, he needs to have something constructive to focus on. 

Nope. He just said the R word. He is officially retiring from MMA.

He pretty much retired on his stool during the Uriah fight so not a shocker. Like @Cal said I hope they give him a job. Maybe with UFC expanding and doing a bunch of SE Asia shows they can make him a Scout for that region. He lives in Hawaii so Im sure he knows who's good from there and you're already 1/2 way to Asia.

He may have an abrasive personality, bu he is still one of the most entertaining guys to watch fight. I hope he is able to stay on the straight and narrow now that he is done pursuing his passion.

Chris Leben is one of my all time favorite fighters, he was just a genuine guy and didn't try put on an act he was just simply Chris Leben. Thank Leben for leaving your heart and will in the cage.

I was 2-2 picking his fights. Hope he has a good life after fighting. Always loved to watch him, especially in that Akiyama fight.
