Usually for a rematch to be exciting, the first fight has to be a close one.. It really wasn't. Then again, it's the only fight that makes sense at the moment I suppose.

Barao's got this. Urijah tried to pass off his loss to Barao as being due to a rib injury, but the truth of the matter was that Barao was faster and was landing the low-kick, and just like against Aldo, Urijah lost some of his speed and his ability to take the fight to the ground. I expect similar results here. Barao via decision.

After What Urijah Did To Michael McDonald I Can't Pick Against Him Right Now, Plus The Fact That Eddie Wineland Was Landing Some Pretty Clean Shots On Barao, Make Me Believe That Urijah Is Gonna Hurt Barao And Jump On His Neck At Some Point In The Fight

Faber has been pretty bad ass lately, but I'd still be surprised if he beats Barao. Should be a good one.

@IAmLegend012 I Think You Are Forgetting What Renan Barao Already Did To Both Michael McDonald And Urijah Faber.

I mean Faber ran through three top 10 Bantamweights and has wins over Mizugaki, Wineland and Assuncao....I'm not sure he has much for Barao but beating McDonald more impressively than Renan could does help. The rematch had to happen.

IM hoping for faber.  Im far from confident but as per usual with ufc picks, im picking with my heart.  Barao is the safe bet for sure but im rooting for faber!

Uriah is by far a most difficult fight for Barao than Cruz right now. However, Barao is a freak and has also shown signs of improvement since he first fought Faber... I'm picking Barao via awesomeness (UD).

No doubt about that, "there is no question they are the two best bantamweights on the planet".

However, I'd also like to add this: there is no question that Renan Barao is the best bantamweight on the planet.

@AnikM ... I Didn't Forget That Urijah Faber Fought 5 Rounds With A Broken Rib And That Michael McDonald Almost Finished Renan Barao In The First, And Had Michael McDonald Gotten Through That Arm Triangle, One Can Argue That The Fight Was Even Going Into The 5th Round

I think so too Anik. I picking Barao to win, and i would have picked him to beat Cruz aswell. That being said, im going to rewatch the first fight between faber and barao and faber to try and see if faber´s chances were affected significantly by his rib injury.

I'm going with upset here. Not because Faber should win, he shouldn't win, but because Barao has won so many ******' times in a row that i think he's bound to lose soon and right now Faber is the only guy who has the ability to do that at this time, but it has to be done within a round or two so he doesn't eat to many kicks.

Anybody else disagree with this fight still headlining the card?

@bklettke It's BS that this fight is headlining the card. As I said previously, Aldo hasn't been able to catch a break with the way they've shaped the PPVs.

I read Aldo will be headlining now since this is no longer a title unification.

I kinda agree with keeping the BW bout as the main event. Being a rematch and all
