I usually go against both guys . but reem looked alright vs browne till he gassed from what i remember . and mir well he hasn't looked good in a long time.

the idea of overeem subbing mir is kind of funny. Mir may be at the tail end of his career but it wasn't that long ago that he broke nog's arm. he is still a very dangerous ground fighter. The way I see it, overeem clearly has a failing chin and little chance on the ground but neither guy can risk losing. Mir by decision

@hiblet i was thinking of taking Mir by decision . but i think Reem will be too aggressive for him . he almost finished browne the same way Mir got finished against barnett . i think if reem gets him up against the cage he's gonna hurt him bad .

This is just one of those "anything can happen" fights, both guys are ****y and tend to not live up to their hype so I never feel comfortable picking either guy. On paper I'd pick Overeem just based off of his striking and early aggression, but if Mir can land a few shots he can drag it to the mat and that's the end of it. The only time I ever saw Reem on his back was against Werdum and he looked like a fish out of water but still I'm probabl;y gonna take 'Reem because Mir's chin is basically nothing at this point. Wouldn't surprise me if Mir got the KO either though.

What if Mir armbars Übereem and he KO's Mir with his taps? Wouldn't that be more fitting?

And for my actual prediction, I think this fight is actually quite easy to pick.

Given #1: Anyone who can somehow survive the Overeem onslaught (basically 40-60 seconds of action) will beat him.

Given #2: Frank Mir has never shown the heart of chin to survive anything close to an Overeem onslaught (and please don't say the Big Nog knockdown because that would be comparing a feather tickle to a speeding bus).

Conclusion: Reem, TKO, 1.

Mir cannot handle a bigger stronger guy. Overeem is to stong against the cage and mir is lousy there he lost to Barnett that way and overeem in my opinion is even better mir will have a very hard time taking ubereem down

I don't see either of them getting cut. They both have all of their losses to big names and he HW division is too shallow to release such name talent.
