After getting brutally KO'ed, Rony Jason elbowed a wall in the backstage and ended up getting 15 stitches on his arm (and 7 on his face because of the KO). Someone caught it on tape:

Now he's got a 30-days disciplinary suspension on top of the 180-days medical suspension. Great job, Jason!

I respect his passion and know his pain.

Also, the 180 day injury suspension will be waved in like a month or two, like they always do. It is no big deal.

The pic of his arm was pretty bad too, was gonna post the pic but the link i saw it on was gone.

Anyway, I understand he's upset but you can't do **** like that. Especially when you further injure yourself...in the end he had to get reprimanded, and I'm sure he'll accept the suspension looking back on it.

I admire his passion as well. He didn't act too maturely but I appreciate that he cares that much about what he does.

So much goes into preparation for a fight that I can understand being upset about losing like that. You can't really go around breaking **** and hurting yourself though.

I personally don't think that was all that bad. It was in the moment type of thing. His emotions where high and he lashed out and was not thinking straight. Ive done similar before as have many others. I don't think what he did was really that bad. It was one elbow. If he had kept trying to break other things, then yea that be bad, but lashing out that one time is not really that big of a deal. Also he likely had a concussion which means he likely was not even all there at the time similarly to how drunk people will make poor decisions when there emotions are running high when they normally would not have because there in alter state of mind not thinking completely rationally.

Big deal, this guy was fight in low level competition and at nowhere his gets a chance to be in the biggest network in his country wins the show becomes extremely mainstream in Brazil gets a nice 3 win streak, everybody hoping he was going to win and at the end got knockout brutally in front of his home country, got extremely upset with his first loss in a high level competition and broke a wall. I bet if he didnt got injury nobody would care. I know couple friends who would react in the same way in that circumstance Im sure things like that happens a lot backstage we just never see it.

I give him credit for holding it together immediately after the fight in front of the fans / proper cameras.

The guy obviously trained his ass off and put a lot emotionally and physically into preparing for the fight. He kpt it together until he got backstage and I suppose it's better a wall than a person.

Rony is a very emotional guy, which is both a blessing and a curse.

@ronwah - Anger is a very insidious emotion. Anger like that usually takes a bit to build up. I suspect he was still out of it in the ring, probably why he wasn't as visibly angry. After gaining some memory back, and perhaps seeing the footage, then the anger must have been too much to control. I used to have terrible anger issues, and its just a scapegoat of an excuse to call someone emotional. Everyone is emotional, people can handle it better, and direct it better. In the end, he still has his health, a career, money, friends and family etc.

My view.
