big lol at "oliveira is overrated", he destroyed efrain escudero, got caught by the arguably top 3 LW in the UFC in a SICK reversal, then was on his way to destroying another tough opponent in lentz and accidentaly landed a knee which resulted in a NC. nobody said he'll be the champion now nor will beat anyone who's put against him, he's just impressed me (and many others, I'm sure) for his flashy striking moves and for having the most dangerous guard in UFC's LW division. and he's only 21.

If Cerrone can keep Oli at bay, he may have a chance, but a soon as there's a scramble we'll get sub of the night

Oliveira is being underestimated here....People are stuck on Cerrone's last win...Cerrone's easiest fights in his career have been in the UFC so far.... Vagner Rocha??? Who the f#$% is that??? That guy sucked... what a downgrade in a fight from his last before that.... Now he's gonna get some top competition here. Cerrone is often a slow starter and Oliveira likes to get off first keeping a blistering pace in all his fights... Watching all Oliveira's UFC fight's and Cerrone's WEC and UFC fights I'm going with Oliveira.... Gonna be a great fight though! It could go fast if it hits the ground... haha

cerrone will out tough oliveira. the only time oliveira was in a bad situation he folded faster than a lemonade stand in the winter in alaska. cerrone wins this by pure toughness. i got submit but i'm  going to change to knockout. oliveira won't be able to knock out the cowboy but i believe donald will go for the KO. he will come out fast too. its in the gameplan.

Prediction: correct Cerrone   wrong Decision  

We haven't seen Oliveira in deep waters yet, and his groundgame, while fun to watch and effective at getting others in subs, does not bode well against Cerrone. I don't think he has Bendo-like submission escapability. We've seen Cerrone under pressure and he doesn't fold, he may start slow but he'll weather it and start picking Oliveira apart.

I wouldn't be shocked with Oliveira winning but I think the experience will give Cerrone the edge here. Either way, I'm so friggin pumped for this fight.

HAHAHAHA Hilarious GIF... Expierience Adv??? He Only has 1 more win and 2 more losses than Oliveira??? Better competition??? Not lately....maybe back in WEC. If Cerrone wins, I see it only by way of Decision 29-28 or Split

Experience isn't only number of fights. I think his competition has been better, plus the fact he's been in 5 round fights,especially the 5 round war with Bendo, you learn a lot from those. I wouldn't be shocked if he locks up a sub, if he ends up on his back, Oliveira better not get wild, or he'll get caught.

@MMApicker42 I agree with you. People are seeing Cerrone as some kind of kickboxing master for leg kicking Rocha to a decision. Yeah, he destroyed the dude, but Rocha did not check ANY of his kicks, and Cerrone could not finish an already beaten Rocha. Oliveira outclassed everyone he's beaten, and got caught by Miller, who's arguably one of the top grapplers in 155. And let's not forget, every fight Oliveira has fought went to the ground, be it by a takedown or simply by accepting being taken down. There's no way in hell Cerrone is destroying him, he can go out with the win, but it is definitely not going to be an easy fight.

@Danno I think Nick Lentz and Jim Miller (Oliveira's last 2 fights) were WAYYYYY tougher than Vagner Rocha and Kelly (Cerrone's last two fights) Don't you agree that those arent even close in comparison?? But yes the 5 round fights in his WEC days are great for him... But as of lately his level of competition in the UFC doesnt compare to Oliveira's. Recent fight experience is more relevant than fights 2 to 3 years ago.
