Indeed, I believe Sonnen is the only hope for Silva to lose his belt. And who knows if he'll ever fight again. I would not mind seeing Bisping get KTFO'd again though.

If Bisping beats Mayhem I think he would get the next title shot.  It would be a very marketable fight.  If Mayhem wins, I'm not sure.

I dont really know who can be next, anyone will get smashed by him.  Im hoping he fights a top guy at 205. I think he could have some great fights with guys there

Hopefully they will find a way to bring Sonnen back in time to get a rematch with Anderson Silva. Otherwise, I think it's going to be the winner of Maia/Munoz. I'd like to see Stann fight Vitor Belfort. Who knows, we might have to wait for the winner of Miller/Bisping. If Wandy beats Leben, maybe Wandy?

No way Wandy deserves it at all hes 3-5 in the UFC... But I think if Bisping wins he gets number one contender fight either against Stann or if Munoz wins then Munoz... I think Munoz Bisping and Stann would all be cool match ups for Anderson not because they would cause a threat but because we havent seen them against him yet.. I think out of the 3 Munoz definetly stands the best chance with good striking and great wrestling that is what you need to beat Anderson but knowing Silva he will find some way to win it.

With Sonnen out and Silva fighting Okami, you have Maia, Belfort, Bisping, Santiago, Munoz... With Maia fighting Munoz, Santiago just getting lit up, the suggestion by @Gregory is really the only one that makes sense.  The only problem with that is that the earliest a Bisping/Silva fight could take place would be in March of '12.. putting the division on hold for 7 months...

As crazy as it may sound, all Bisping would have to do is avoid the big shots and most of Anderson's latest opponents have been able to do that.  Oh boy would that rock the MMA forum world!

I dont think by any means Bisping would win, but i think he has the best chance in the division and deserves it the most. I think peoples personal opinion of Bisping cloud there judgement about his fighting skills. His only huge loss was to a guy that gave Silva a run for his money, other than that he lost decisions to two very tough guys. If he beats Miller he without a doubt deserves a shot.

I don't think someone who is gonna try to out point Silva on the feet is gonna have a good chance against him...Silva is too accurate with his strikes and is just too good at what he does for Bisping to be any kind of threat in my opinion
