Prediction: correct Curran   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 4  

Both fighters have been on tear, and this one is really tough to pick, but I think that the longer the fight goes on, the more in Curran's favor the fight will play. Curran has also faced the better opposition. This could really go either way, but I'm picking Curran for now.

Prediction: correct Curran   wrong Decision  

Curran has proven he can go into deep waters and not gas out. Shamhalaev hasn't gone past the second round in any of his Bellator fights and his inexperience in 5 round fights might cost him here.

Prediction: correct Curran   wrong Decision  

Shamhalaev is very tempting to pick because of his performance in the tournament. Probably end up picking Curran, but I can't say for sure

Prediction: wrong Shamkhalaev   wrong KO/TKO   wrong Round 2  

I'm very excited for this, Curran has very tight defense and never got KO'ed before but Shamhalaev with his insane hand speed and overall great standup, can do it I believe. Shamha really impressed me in his 3 Bellator fights so I'm going with him but needless to say that Curran is very good as well, awesome matchup maybe one of the best Bellator fights ever. (On paper at least) We'll see...

In every tourney fight Shamhalaev looked awesome. But I think Pat Curran is the best Non-Zuffa fighter out there. I think he is too good for majority of FWs.
