I can't vouch for this guy's competition but he seems to be on a roll. One things for sure, he doesn't have a very long training camp. 20-0 in his career w/ 18 finishes.

The combined record of those 7 guys he beat in 2013 is 8-16 (with the best among them being 4-4), so I wouldn't be expecting a new unstoppable UFC champion any time soon.

Someone just posted him in another thread yesterday

I dont know much about him but I did a quick search, he's a blue belt in BJJ (not entirely sure on the accuracy though) and he's with Renovacao which is one of Brazil's top teams. He also seems to like the flying knee a lot

@mmawizzard

That's pretty much my thinking too. And especially if you come out of Brazil 20-0. Wasn't Renan Barao the last fighter to do that?

@Live2wrestle

Appreciate it.

Brazil has a lot of pro can crushers so I wouldnt be surprised if a few guys have done it but Barao is the only one I can think of off the top of my head that ended up being legit

The combined record of all the guys he has fought is 15-42. And he has 20 fights the guy's he has been fighting are making there debut or have lost there first few fights. So I don't no how good he is until  till he starts fighting much tougher fighters.

he is brother of Rafael "Morcego" Silva who will be making his Bellator debut (not in the GP) soon.

there is a lot of promissing talent in the lower weights in Brazil theses days... i'd say to watch out for a US debut of any of those soon:

Dileno Lopes,
Ivan "Batman" Jorge,
José Maria "No Chance" Tomé,
Iliarde Santos,
Leandro Higo

among those, i'm sure at least one will be big name in the UFC. i'm personally rooting for José Maria "No Chance".

EDIT: forgot about Alexandre Pantoja too

He's worth signing just to see him against better competition. Maybe get him on the next TUF Brazil.

What I love more than anything about that finish is that Neves didn't go to hit him anymore after he realized his opponent was out.
