I've seen a Tapology Talks for everything else so wth.

 

With the playoffs approaching lets talk some basketball.

Some news from recently:

- Heat get 18th win straight over Indiana.

- Lakers beat Chicago to take 8th seed in the West.

- Durants 23 pts and 10 rebs get the Thunder their 5th win in a row against the Cetics.

- Raptors beat Cavs, Kyrie Irving injures shoulder.

- Magic gave the 76ers their 5th straight loss.

- Suns beat Rockets even though Harden gets 38 pts.

Does it really matter who wins the east in the NBA?  We all know some team from the west will win the title again anyway, now that LeBron's Cavaliers aren't the super team everyone imagined they would be.

Russell Westbrook's triple-double two games ago with all 3 categories at least 15, not 10 (17pts, 15reb, 17ast), was only the 3rd time being done in the last 19 years (Kidd & Rondo were the other two).  Pretty efficient considering he only played 36 minutes and it was a non-OT game.

Looks like Durant will be fine. Says he's playing tomorrow against his hometown Wizards. Which brings us to an interesting topic. Who thinks he bounces from OKC?

Honestly, what sounds better? Play in the middle of nowhere with a shoot first point guard and a PF who thinks he's Steph Curry? Or play in the nation's capital with one of the best players at finding the open man, one of the better pure shooters in the game AND one of the best big man combos?

How do you not at least contend for a title with Gortat, Nene, Durant, Beal and Wall? This isn't the Cavs or the Heat where they brought everyone on the same team and hoped for the best. The Wizards made a calculated series of free agent signings and draft picks. Durant would fit well there. No one stepping on anyones toes.

Amazing ... he was just knocking them down from everywhere, some of them tough ******* shots ... also, add to that 5 assists and 4 steals, oh and the fact that he was pulled with over 9 minutes left to play in the 4th and still finished with 52 ... monster game!

**** like that happens. Although if he was paying attention, he should have seen him. Keep your eye on the ball, but make sure you know where your feet are at all times.

I notice no one has mentioned that Derrick Rose exploded his knee again. Shame. I'm not a Bulls fan, but he's a fun player to watch and had the ability to be a great point guard for a long time if his body could have held up.
