So, I thought it might serve a purpose to create a thread for all the other contributions to each other's lives that don't fit anywhere else.
Do you have something that would enrich the community culturally? Maybe dance, comedy, nutritional, inspirational, arresting visuals? But please let's keep this positive, and appropriate to the general public.
Maybe a video clip of a movie, broadway show, highly unusual, utterly creative, a cutting edge piece of information, a new computer application, or something that would make someone's life better or richer.

By the way, the ongoing down-arrows do not bother me in the least anymore. They used to. I've come to realize that they have nothing to do with my posts or content. Which was why they originally bothered me.
I now realize that they reflect that someone here deeply dislikes me and seeks to upset me and make me uneasy and get my attention. And when I realized that, they immediately ceased to exist for me. I am at ease. This is the very last you will ever hear from me on that subject.
So long as I have friends and allies as Howl, Swick, Master Spanky, xxTAnk, MikesLovesTacos, jaykool, legacy, MadMike, gunn, p4p, BodyModifier, Blackwork, buffalo ben, WishIsHere, Stealing, hitcher, Russello, Kalibo, Live2, geez, SRA, Anik, etc. I will continue to create threads and posts to support the site.

Brian Wilson
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Wilson
Most people know that Brian Wilson was the guiding light of the Beach Boys. He wrote, arranged, produced their songs and sang the high parts. He has always been one of my idols. To get to where he's at today, he had to overcome mental illness, obesity, drug addiction, and major psychological hurdles of insecurity of his father dominating and belittling him, selling his music out from under him to Capitol records, the Beach Boys having reservations with respect to his 1967 Smile project, and Mike Love sueing him and having his own (Mike Love) name placed on his songs as co-writer!!! Thereby stealing half of Brian's future songwriting royalties income. Mike Love is a despicable, contemptible music thief. He sued Brian knowing Brian suffered from diminished capacity to defend his music legally.
Some Wikipedia excerpts.
Brian Douglas Wilson (born June 20, 1942) is an American musician and the leader, lead vocalist, bassist and chief songwriter of The Beach Boys. Besides being their primary composer, he also functioned as the band's main producer and arranger. After signing with Capitol Records in mid-1962, Wilson wrote or co-wrote more than two dozen Top 40 hits for the Beach Boys.
In the mid-1960s, Wilson used his increasingly creative ambitions to compose and produce Pet Sounds, considered one of the greatest albums of all time. The intended follow up to Pet Sounds, Smile, was cancelled for various reasons, including Wilson's deteriorating mental health. Wilson's contributions to the Beach Boys diminished and his erratic behavior led to tensions with the band. After years of treatment and recuperation, he began a solo career in 1988 with Brian Wilson, the same year that he and the Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since then, he has toured for the first time in decades with a new band and released acclaimed albums, including a reworked version of Smile in 2004, for which Wilson won his first Grammy Award for "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow (Fire)" as Best Rock Instrumental.
In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine published a list of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" that ranked Wilson number 52. He is an occasional actor and voice actor, having appeared in television shows, films, and other artists' music videos. On December 16, 2011, a 50th Anniversary Reunion was announced and Brian briefly returned to the Beach Boys. Brian Wilson remains a member of the Beach Boys corporation, Brother Records Incorporated.
Since he has been a solo artist since 1988, he has put out several CDs, and I suspect some good tunes have slipped by you.In case that is so, here are some of his better efforts. Hope you like them!

A month for free, and $7.99 a month if you stay in, with unlimited access to whatever they have in their catalog that streams.
I just joined it. They had 6 of the 21 movies on my list that I wanted to see. I think that is not to bad.
They are Hugo, Super 8, The Artist, Beautiful Creatures, Hansel and Gretel and The Grey.
They didn't have the ones I wanted most. Life of Pi, Safe Haven, Oz the Great and Powerful, Jack the Giant-Slayer, Lincoln, Beasts of the Southern Wild.
Oh well. A little step in the right direction is better than nothing!
