So, I thought it might serve a purpose to create a thread for all the other contributions to each other's lives that don't fit anywhere else.
Do you have something that would enrich the community culturally? Maybe dance, comedy, nutritional, inspirational, arresting visuals? But please let's keep this positive, and appropriate to the general public.
Maybe a video clip of a movie, broadway show, highly unusual, utterly creative, a cutting edge piece of information, a new computer application, or something that would make someone's life better or richer.

Much appreciated, fellas!
I really enjoy seeing who you guys enjoy watching and listening to. So much talent.
One of the few things that I was surprised to see was so few people liking the following singers.
David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Roy Orbison, Van Morrison and Grayson Hugh.
I would have thought those guys would have been high up on the lists of people who give love and props to street greatness. And no one but me mentioned The Band. So good, guys.

People don't like Van Morrison?
What is this I don't even?

Current 3,000 Meter World Record
He ran the distance, which is about 7.5 laps around the track, in 7:20.67.
It is equal to 2 4-minute miles back to back. It is better than running under 8 minutes for 2-miles.
He was only 20 years old and ripped almost 5 seconds off the old record 7:25.11, set on August 2, 1994 by Noureddine Morceli of Algeria, in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Current Long Jump World Record
On August 30, 1991, at Shinjuku, Tokyo, American Mike Powell set the current world record in the Long Jump.
He jumped 29' 4 1/4, or 8.95 meters. It broke the existing world record by about 2 inches. But that former record was by Bob Beaman at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. His record had survived for 24 years.
Everyone had thought that Carl Lewis was going to be the one who broke it, but Carl didn't. His friendly rival, Mike Powell did. Who knew?

Shakespeare himself couldn't have been more eloquent.
Has anyone here heard Roy Orbison sing? They called him, 'The Voice'. Effortless greatness.
I mean to bring back the greatness of yesteryear. Since you didn't learn it the first time around (because you weren't born), you're condemned to relive it again. From moi. That's me in French, folks.
