The only way I was able to read it was interlibrary loan. It was about 15 years ago. It adds some good incite into the characters and ends differently.

Jeez, you love some Perlman huh?

How was Hand of God, and how is Ray Donovan? I've been meaning to watch Ray Donovan for a while now.

If you're a Christian, you might be offended by the show. I'm only 2 episodes in, as they all leaked two days ago on Amazon. I like it, Perlman is a very unique and special kind of actor you gotta love him. It seems good so far, hard to tell where it's going to go the plot seems to thicken and be full of surprises.

Ray Donovan is a badass male soap opera like Sons of Anarchy, I think I like it more than Sons though.

It highlights how religion can make you delusional, how people find it silly, how it can be a scam and fraudulent. A lot of people are upset with Ron Perlman and claim the series has an anti-Christian agenda. I liked it though but then again I don't like Jesus.

Anti-Christian agenda from Hollywood?  No way!

I wonder how HW would act if one of their sacred issues was made to look bad.  Oh wait, they do negaively to it because they know better than anyone else.

Those movies make small money compared to blockbusters.  The only religious movie to make a big money was Passion of the Christ.  Was and still may be the most profitable R rated movie to date.

Woohoo Anti-Christian agenda for the win, make it an all-encompassing Anti-religion agenda and I'd be sold. Too bad the movie industry is is nowhere near that yet, it can be subtle but never really overt. All the Atheist and Anti-religion movies are relegated to small budgets and independent films. I think the TV industry can take more risks because they tend to spend less than big budget films. But there are plenty of movies and shows with that kind of lean making religion look as ridiculous as it is without much threat of being killed over it.

The crazy thing is, those type of movies are just bad. Like really bad. And the use the fact that "ohh it is a christian movie, so it is ok that the acting, story, meaning are all bad."

I basically give up on those anymore.
The last good "christian movie" I have seen was probably "Chronicles of Narnia" beaitch! But then again it is not saying much.

Chronicles of Narnia wasn't a Christian movie, that Aslan was clearly Muslim.
