The original Dawn of the Dead.

Not only the story but how they did so much with so little money.

Rappin' you know that I am always right because I am always joking.  Anyhoo, there are so many of my fave movies.

I love Shawshank Redemption and Up, the first fifteen minutes of are like a movie within a movie and are so good that it sort of makes you forget the rest of the movie, but I watched it again recently and the rest of the  movie is brilliant too.

For foreign movies it would be a close call between Chunking Express and Hanabi.  Two totally different movies in sentiment, mood and I suppose purpose.

I also love JSA.

Americans love The Hunger Games so much but won't watch Battle Royale.

Bit unorthodox, but I enjoyed Joss Whedon's The Cabin in the Woods. It's even more of a horror movie satire than Scream (great movies) with plenty of comedy for fans of the horror genre. It's not for everyone, but then again, I love a lot of Whedon's work.

That is one movie that is nothing like its title implies, at least in the horror genre.

Scorsese essentially bought the script to Infernal Affairs so he could make The Departed(the Murican Version).

Nah, but I'm watching Hand of God and Ray Donovan. (Don't judge me) @FollowTheMoney

@Rappinpap, your favorite movie is Casablanca old man. But seriously, as an I'Talian American I can confirm both Godfather and Godfather II were in fact better than Goodfellas (which isn't even my favorite Scorsese film).
