@Jaffa lol. Hey I think that's the best chick flick out there. Gerard Butler is what makes chick flicks actually enjoyable lol. When you're dragged out by your gf just hope it's starring Gerard.
I'll get to know people over time here on the forums. Get use to everyone's sarcasm and humor lol.

I don't mind romantic comedies at all.  I didn't see anyone mention Braveheart or Gladiator.  Those are two very good movies.  I also liked Heat with Al and Robert.  Troy was good.  I only mentioned movies I didn't see already mentioned.

@Skelliher.. I still have the comics I collected as a kid!

@Kalibo I mentioned Gladiator. If you haven't watched Spartacus Blood & Sand you definitely should. 300/Gladiator with a lot of sex. Can't go wrong lol. Very very solid acting. The trainer training the gladiators in the lotus is the dark colored messenger in the movie 300. He's a very impressive actor. Also Xena the warrior princess is in it. Also Jonathon Carnahan from The Mummy. Is the Dominus.

We should all name our top 5 movies in each genre.

I have a fairly extensive movie collection, passed 1000 a little while back.  All time favorites are Big Trouble In Little China and Dawn of the Dead (original) in a tie for the top spot, following in no particular order: Thank You For Smoking, Saving Private Ryan, Kick-Ass, Red Dawn, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Pandorum, District 9, Tropic Thunder, The Devil's Rejects, A History of Violence, The Big Lebowski, The Warriors, Goodfellas, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Apocalypse Now (I'd recommend the Redux edition, it just makes so much more sense), The Wild Bunch, Once Upon A Time In The West, Zombieland, Idocracy, and Fargo.

@Beast seeing Heath Ledger makes me want to turn on The Dark Knight again. His acting was beyond words. I didn't even know it was him at first when I seen the trailer. R.I.P Heath.
