interesting 180, Hope he comes back in proper form.  I used to like rampage a lot but his attitude lately has been frustrating as a fan.

Just saw the article. Haven't read it yet.

Rampage, when motivated, in shape, and injury-free is one of the best LHWs in the world imo. I mean that in the current sense. He's very similar to Shogun in that regard. It is a fact that some fighters are more consistent and some fluctuate up & down much more. Rampage & Shogun are the best examples because when at their best, they're clearly top 5 still but on their poorer performances only 10-15 ish. i.e. Forrest/Shogun, Forrest/Rampage, Shogun/Coleman, & Bader/Rampage. It's possible this is lip service and we won't see a motivated Rampage ever again but I believe, especially on his Jones fight, that he will. The only problem is, the motivated Rampage could be as high as #2 but won't beat Jones unless he corrects his "Liddell" flaw. Chuck had the skills to be a much more complete MMA fighter but chose to employ his sprawl'n'punch exclusively to a) satisfy the fans and b) it worked well against the majority of highly ranked UFC fighters at the time i.e. wrestlers. If he had incorporated more offensive wrestling and kicks in his striking, he would've adapted to the influx of much more competent strikers into the UFC MUCH better than he did. If Rampage at least tries to vary up his striking/gameplanning, he may be the only current member of the "Jones 5" who could topple the champ.

@curtwag I always wanted to see the King Mo fight too, from their beef a few years back, but sometime within the last year those two made nice with one other, so doubt that fight ever happens now..

If Rampage decides to stay good lm happy to watch him fight but if he gets pissed later just because of a lose and starts badmouthing the ufc and threatens to leave again dont even bother staying

So glover says he will only fight a serious and motivated rampage, so then he says this, this guys a fool and a fraud. He would do great in the wwe though.

Lets see how long rampage stays motivated...I would bet its just as long as it takes him to find a decent paying acting gig
