If you're über-talented of popular then sure, pick, choose, piss whoever you want off, you're most likely not gonna get fired over it ... But if you're neither (which Mitrione defenitely is) it just helps to be a company guy. Not that he's going to get fired right now, he's still a good fighter to have in the UFC, but one day he'll be in a position where this Cormier fight could be the decider as to whether he gets one last fight or is booted.
And the other thing that @dielegende23 mentioned was that Mitrione was all over Jon Jones for not fighting Chael and saying that he'd fight anyone ... So? isn't Cormier ... well, anyone?
