17-1 (only loss was his very first fight. First UFC tied record for fastest UFC knockout, and a highlight at that. In a saturated 205 division, does Jimmo make any noise?

He won via highway robbery against Soko. Think of Jimmo as a poor man's Machida, he generally applies the stick and move Karate style, he also likes to clinch though. As soon as he faces a top 15 opponent he will be exposed. Oh and he lost to Antwain Britt on TUF, he barely beat Beastman, and *****ed out against Glover

Interesting the guy who beat him in his first fight only had the one fight. Also according to wikipedia is a CFL player who apparently assaulted and kidnapped some people. lol

Can't wait to see Jimmo back in the octagon. He is very interesting to say the least.

One more interesting note; he has a split decision win over a pretty old Marvin 'the beastman' Eastman

He lost to Sokoudjou! haha
He defiantly seems like he has some talent, however just cause he closed his eyes and connected with Perosh"s chin doesn't mean I'm gonna buy into any type of hype that he is the next big thing or whatever.
When he beats a top ten guy I'll give him some credit until then he's just another LHW.

This guy is Machida like in his striking but he's ridiculously slow to push the pace in most fights I've seen. He lets it go to the judges way too often. His takedown defense is suspect at best, but I do think he could make a little bit of noise sadly by employing a stick and move point fighting game plan. He definitely needs a bigger test.

Generally when I think about Jimmo it reminds me how bad he dances. Similar to this badness.

Don't let the Persoh fight fool you, he's usually not that exciting. He's not a bad fighter, by any means, but his style and tendency to have a rather slow pace (or he's at least really slow to push the pace, sa stated by someone else above) and Soku was robbed in their fight.

He could probably have some succes in the division and his style could definitely beat some guys, but I'm not jumping on the hype until he beats a credible top 15 guy.

In my opinion, he will go down like Todd Duffee. He had a ridiculously quick finish in his fight UFC fight, which basically just sets many people up for disappointment.

But not everyone is a top 10 fighter and that's okay. The UFC needs those 15th-30th ranked fighters to fill cards and put on entertaining fights. I think he is going to be great for that.
