Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same.  I'll get a brief start going..

I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager.  Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature.  I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters.  I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

The car he said was totaled... which means no fixing. If the other dude was proven to be drunk or DWI... or DUI... you'll get a new car of your choice if you play your cards.

@MQuestionable you have an instagram that is awesome.

what now about a car crash? just kidding, hope you're ok.

And now to talk about me...signed up to boxing and kickboxing for the summer. Thursday I'm gonna try to sign up for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (apparently Claude Patrick and Mark Bocek trained at that place before...Bravado Montreal might sound familiar? idk) for the summer as well. Thursday is also the day I start. If I like them, I'm gonna continue, damn I CAN'T WAIT!

Boxing, kickboxing and GJJ 7 days a week. Holy **** that makes me super happy just thinking about it. Goodbye social life (well not really lol).

I'M SO FREAKIN' EXCITED!

@Anik Prepare to be sore as ****, the first day is the worst.  Especially kickboxing your shins are going to feel like they're gonna snap in half.

Thanks guys I was bummed at first but I'm feeling better and just glad I'm not injured/dead.

That's awesome, Anik, I'm probably going to be going to Muay Thai classes they have on campus at my university this semester.  Your jiu-jitsu place sounds legit.

@FresnoMMA Idk the course schedule for the GJJ but I know that kickboxing is twice a week for 2 hours and boxing is 6 times a week for 2hours30, so that doesn't sound that bad right?

As for my shins, **** me 'cause my shins are ******* brittle. I literally have indents and bumps on my shin from breaking it a bunch of times. Plus I gotta bike there and back (25 minute bike ride about) so I think my life's gonna be pretty ******* painful for awhile.

I hope it's worth it.

@MQuestionable yeah I was surprised at how legit it sounded. The head trainer's a 3rd dan black belt under Royler Gracie. That's freakin' legit. And a guy there (Robert Dicenso I believe) went to Abu Dhabi before.

And Muay Thai classes at your university, sounds ******* awesome.

That's really similar to AKA schedule.  When I went to AKA I always went to Saturday's muy thai/kickboxing class and I would go on thursday for sparring (boxing) and tuesday for kickboxing or boxing.  I never went to the MMA or jiu-jitsu classes even though it was on my membership.

Good luck though man and enjoy it while you can, I was signed up for a year and it FLEW by, it ended this february and I desparately want to sign up again.

dang I only got it for the summer too and my school starts August 23. Oh well, I'll enjoy it while I can. I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it to the fullest 'cause I'm gonna be so ******* sore.

And my kickboxing & boxing is at a different gym, it's literally across the street from the Gracie-Jiu Jitsu dojo. Like I just signed up to the gym with my dad and we were going to drive back and then we drive by that dojo (super small in the middle of a bunch of deps and ****) and I just see Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in big blue letters on yellow and I'm just like what the hell and I double taked and my dad was like what? I then went and explained Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and why I love it and he just nodded and he probably ignored me but idc I'M DOING JIUJITSU AHHHH

I had a cousin tell me he "traned UFC" once and it led to an awkward silence because he knew how stupid it sounded when he realized how big of an MMA fan I was.

Woah it started working fine for me just now too. O.O

@Prodigy He had no clue what MMA was and went with a friend once so that is why it was hilarious when he said it.

Also we need to get this thread to 100 ups for the OP (4 off currently).
