That's right, in another edition of Tapology Talks we bring to you pro wrestling! I've seen individual threads on pro wrestling, I've seen pro wrestling talk litter all over the "Slow Days" thread so why don't we try to manage the talk?

And what better way than to open up a Tapology Talks thread, amirite?

So to start the conversation, who here's a pro wrestling fan, when were you introduced to pro wrestling, your favorite wrestlers, etc. etc?

I became a pro wrestling fan in 2008, my first match I ever saw was WWE Raw with CM Punk vs MVP, my favorite wrestlers are CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan. I'm starting to watch pro wrestling again because CM Punk's slowly turning heel, and that's great news.

How bout you?

That Wrestlemania was so good. The main event took something that could have been horrible and turned it into something amazing.

This was the first Wrestlemania I've ever seen live on TV. I was a huge WWF fan in the late 80's and early 90's. However my parents would never buy me the PPV to watch so I always had to tune in the following weekend to see who won (pre-internet era). I would however rent any SummerSlam or Wrestlemania VHS at the video store that I could find.

Fast-forward 20 years, and I just read Andre the Giant's new graphic novel biography

It brought back a lot of nostalgic memories of him and the early Wrestlemania era. I heard that Wrestlemania was this weekend so I decided to seek it out and watch it.

I was disappointed at first when I learned that I missed the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy battle royal. But when the the seven-way ladder match started I was thinking, "oh man what have I gotten myself into?" However I started to really enjoy it as the event went on. I liked how they incorporated the legends into the event all night. When nWo and DX came out, I thought that was pretty cool. Both groups were past my time, but I had a passing knowledge of them.

I have to admit that I was grinning ear-to-ear when Ronda was brought into the ring and had her moment. I can see her one day pulling Rock and leaving the UFC to focus on movie projects and randomly appearing once in awhile to perform at Wrestlemania and SummerSlam (of course never losing).

Unfortunately, the main event was taking place the same time my fantasy baseball draft was happening, so I was really focused on that and was only watching the main event out of the corner of my eye. I thought it kind of weird that a guy who lost earlier in the night ended up winning the WWE title. But I guess that was their plot twist.

All and all, I thought it was an entertaining night. I doubt that I'll start watching it weekly again, but perhaps I'll check out their next flagship PPV; and of course I'll be watching next years Wrestlemania in Dallas. I'm sure that will be a loaded show in Cowboy stadium.

I rewatched the event on the WWE Network and I am surprised at how quiet it sounded. It was way more loud in person.

I enjoyed seeing everyone standing throughout the entire Sting vs Triple H match. Normally we stood for the entrances and then sat when the matches began but this one was the exception.
