That's right, in another edition of Tapology Talks we bring to you pro wrestling! I've seen individual threads on pro wrestling, I've seen pro wrestling talk litter all over the "Slow Days" thread so why don't we try to manage the talk?

And what better way than to open up a Tapology Talks thread, amirite?

So to start the conversation, who here's a pro wrestling fan, when were you introduced to pro wrestling, your favorite wrestlers, etc. etc?

I became a pro wrestling fan in 2008, my first match I ever saw was WWE Raw with CM Punk vs MVP, my favorite wrestlers are CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan. I'm starting to watch pro wrestling again because CM Punk's slowly turning heel, and that's great news.

How bout you?

My grandad watches Raw, smackdown and TNA religiously. I just thought that was cool and would post it. :P

Also don't just thumb him down because he likes something you don't, ***! I don't understand American Football but I don't just go on the football thread and thumb everyone down.

Yep. Still watch it on occasion. My earliest memories of pro wrestling were being 11 and seeing Monday Nitro during the Attitude Era.

All time favourite was easily Shawn Michaels.

Shawn Michaels is definitely one of, if not THE greatest ever. He always had great matches, he was a great wrestler with a great image and great mic ability. HBK, heel or face, is awesome.

I love watching pro wrestling. I never watched Ring of Honor till a few months ago. I bought three ROH dvds online. They include CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, and Austin Aries. The Briscoes are also pretty badass too.

I watch WWE from time to time. I started watching wrestling around 2000 when I was a kid and probably watched it almost every time it was on until around 2006/2007 and I still watch it from time to time.

Some of my favorite wrestlers: CM Punk, The Undertaker, Kane, Rob Van Dam, old Jeff and Matt Hardy, Goldberg, The Nature Boy RIC FLAIR, etc.
I'm also a "Paul Heyman" guy! The man is a ******* genius and if WWE or TNA would of put him in charge they would both be ALOT better right now in my opinion.

Edit: and of coarse Chris Jericho, in my opinio Y2J is the best in ring talent in the history of professional wrestling or at least of this generation.

I watch RAW and TNA Impact most weeks. Id like to watch SmackDown but sometimes I just cant get into it knowing that they happened days ago. SmackDown is coming to the HP Pavilion to film the 10/9 edition of SD. Im gonna try to go to it.

After watching ROH, I became a fan of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli and was glad to see that they were signed by WWE. Glad that Castagnoli took the title from the comic relief.

@kallous I use to watch TNA every week cause it was just so different and awesome, they had a some great in ring talent i.e AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, etc but as soon as they put Hulk Hogan in charge it went to complete and utter **** in my opinion.

From the late 80's to the early 2000's I watched pro wrestling regularly. Now if I try to watch it it's just terrible. I really can't believe how far it's fallen.

when TNA had the 6 sided ring they were a lot cooler. their whole aces and eights angle is lame and seems like Bischoff and hogan are stuck in the same circle from 20 years ago unfortunately.

Plus why have them take out your world champ, A Double.

I'm not glad, Santino Marella is ******* awesome. When I got into wrestling he was style in the middle of his heel run and was slowly turning face, I love Santino he's great. Claudio Castonogliadwhakhdkqwhateverthe**** is a great wrestler, I've always liked him. Something about Chris Hero I never liked, but he's definitely a guy who deserves respect. Dude's got like 80 finishers but I don't think I like him because I've always hated CZW and I believe he's a CZW guy.

CZW-ROH angle was ******* awesome, this is my one of my favorite indy promos of all time. Who else should cut said promo but the American Dragon himself?

Santino is a really good in ring talent and he seems really over with the fans but his current gimmick (and most gimmicks in wrestling today) sucks.

I've always hated ROH and CZW, the only promotion other than the WWE that I got into was IWA:MS. Now THAT is amazing, ******* love IWA:MS.

I agree that Santino is funny as hell. I laughed my ass off when he called Lillian Garcia a filthy prostitute. I dont think she should be holding the title though. I'd like to see Santino with this gimmick.

I've been watching pretty consistently since the late 90's. All time favorites include Chris Jericho, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Booker T, Eddie Guerrero, Kane and Rob Van Dam. Of the younger guys in the WWE right now, I like CM Punk, Ziggler and Daniel Bryan the most.

I, also, am a Paul Heyman guy. Have any of you guys been to a live professional wrestling show before?
