I think Barnett has this pretty easy. I understand why a lot of people don't like him because of the steroids and such. I'm not even a fan of his, but he is probably one of the least appreciated fighters for what he has done. 29-5 with 3 of those loses coming to Cro Cop, 1 by Big Nog, and the other by The Rock ain't too shabby.

I'm taking Rogers, Barnett hasn't fought in over a year and may be a little unfocused with everything else going on, while Rogers has been getting beat up by the best of Strikeforce, so he's had some experience now against the upper echelon. It's a longshot, but what the hell, I'm going for it. Rogers hung in there with a still-dangerous Fedor for a round before getting taken out, and can knock people out (Barnett is still a human being). If Barnett doesn't take Rogers seriously for even a moment, bad things could happen. Also, can I predict "Rogers via post-fight decision after Barnett fails a drug test"?

@ adoseofbuckley - good post, great argument, and I had a good laugh about the steroid joke about Barnett. If Rogers wins, it will be a very big win for him, and it will put him right back in the MMA HW spotlight. I just think Barnett is better everywhere the fight takes place.

I think Rogers has a better chance than the odds suggest. I think he's worth a bet at +300. I think I'll pick Barnett on Tapology though. Submission, Late TKO, and decision are all possibilities. Gonna stick with decision though.

I kinda agree that there is value in rogers at +300 b/c him landing a big punch is more than just a lucky punch for some guys especially since barnett has not been active. I think barnett wants to prove a point though and i'm sure he wants very badly to get back on the main events in the UFC so that is why i pick a first round tko. it would not surprise me if it happened the other way around.

Rogers is not a bad fighter, but he jumped into the top tier competition way to fast. I know his only 2 losses came to two legends, but the guy could of been an amazing prospect if handled properly IMO.
