College football thread

55 days until the one of the countries best sports start. in the 2014 season we will have a 4 team playoff which is a step in the right direction. certain teams are moving to different conferences. last one is boise state has decided to leave the MWC and goto the big east conference. that will backfire on them. the travel alone will lose them a couple of games and those 12--1 seasons they enjoyed will disappear. they will never find another QB like Kellen Moore My team the Utah Utes will do very well this year. nothing less then a holiday bowl appearance vs the texas longhorns will do. it looks like US$ will start the season #1. we get them on october 4th and last years game came down to a blocked FG by the trojans. payback will be a ***** and i will be there live at Rice- Eccles stadium, 50,000 strong to watch the trojans fall from #1 and their championship hopes gone forever.

Hope the best for Marcus Lattimore 

Everything you hear about Lattimore suggest he's a great kid. He's also a great talent. That was a terrible injury and I doubt he'll ever be the same. I hope I'm wrong and he makes a full recovery.

Utah State 9-0-1 vs the spread. no team in college football modern history has covered every game. next week they play La. Tech who is 8-1 and the game is in ruston Louisiana so i think utah state would get 3 to 4.5 points in that game. they get past that and they have texas state and then the bowl game. i would love to see them go 12-0-1 and be the first.

i rather enjoy watching bama get beaten down 20-0 and getting 14 points.  johnny manziel right now is the best qb in all of college football and if they beat bama he will be the frontrunner for the heisman. only a freshman too. dual threat QB

i love watching bama lose and making money off them. here is the funny thing, i got cal +30.5 points. i got a feeling oregon is gonna win 56 -21. maybe even worse.

mad props to the sunbelt conference. 3 straight up wins vs the sec this year and ULL almost beat florida and they were a 27.5 underdog. i can only think of two sec teams that covererd the spread vs sunbelt teams the whole year. they add georgia state next year. they will be the best outside the big 6 conferences. they get better every year. my favorite was florida atlantic getting +51.5 points vs bama. i would take the worst team in FBS football and that point spread.

 

 

great weak for the underdogs. heres a game next week thats very intersting. it will be Utah State vs La Tech. USU is 8-2 straight up and 9-0-1 ATS.  La tech. will be 9-1 straight up  and ranked in the AP poll around  18th in the country. they have already put up 62 points in there game today and its not over. Utah State will play the game in Ruston Louisiana. i think we  can get at least + 4 points but i want, 6.5 , 7 points. i will load up on utah state heavily if its that many. they played a better schedule. its next saturday.

no offense but saban was a baby again. he said Johnny "football" Manziel and the rest of Texas A&M don't play football the right way. sorry saban but spread offenses are whats gonna take your program down. i think both Kansas state and Oregon would have beaten the tide the same way. better get a dual threat QB for next year. the days of dropped back passers are gone. you can ask the now 3 loss usc trojans the same thing.

for the sake of college fotball lets hope Oregon, Kansas State and Notre Dame all stay undefeated. then there will be no chance the sec gets in the title game. NONE.

utah state plays La. tech. they made an interesting point spread. its La Tech getting the points  at home. + 3. they are right behind oregon in highest scoring team in the nation. at 53.7 a game. the reason i think they are doing this is b/c USU is 9-0-1 against the spread. they don't want anybody to go undefeated vs  ATS. its never been done and its bad for business.

 

 

on a side note tennessee got 2 more years probationb/c of the old coaching staff headed by lane kiffin. tennessee must hate kiffin with a passion. its basically destroyed a once proud program. the best they can do is 6-6 this year and i think vandy will beat them. they  might have to keep derek dooley too b/c no coach wants the job. for the next 5 or 6 years the best they can do in the sec is 7th place out of 14 teams. the "Best" they can do.

utah state winning 17 -3 at halftime. they held a team at half to 24 points off there usual total. utah state has idaho its last game. idaho has already fired its coach and the team has given up. i could see the points spread as large as 38 points.  idaho is without a conference next year. the WAC is dissolved and they were not picked up by any other conference. they will half to go down to FCS football but will most likely have to skip a year a football b/c schedules are made years in advance. i think Utah /State will make history when they  get by La Tech. make it 27-7 third quarter. Chuckie Keeton is Da Man. USU dual threat QB.

 

Notre dame just kicking the  zhit out of wake forest. 31 -0. 11-0 for the Irish. UCLA easily defeats US$ and knocks them to 7-4. now notre dame comes to town to **** up there season completely. expect a big ND win and usc ends 7-5 and lane kiffin and his dad get fired and then two cities despise them both.

i'm on the train for the Buckeyes next year. Urban Meyer and Braxton Miller are gonna do some serious damage. especially now that Mr Meyer will bring in some serious talent on defense. going to make mullah on The Ohio State University

We're going to need those recruits on defense. John Simon had 4 sacks today. But we're losing him after this season.
