Newest addition to the list of The Curse, Flyweight Demetrious Johnson, AKA Mighty Mouse, is out with an injury.  He must have surgery to repair a hernia.  It remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined for.

So far, Aldo, Cruz, Stann, Belfort, Bisping, Fitch, Alves, Belcher, Abedi, Thiago Silva & Demetrious Johnson have all been injured in the past 30 days.  And Cain Velasquez is questionable.

No, I am NOT.  I explained that in detail on page 5.

I think fighters are reporting their injuries more b/c of the insurance instead of hiding them and fighting injured. It's a safety culture in all work places... even at my work, barely anyone would report injuries (unless very significant) b/c of fear of backlash and/or punishment. We instituted a safety program that guaranteed confidence (unless obvious negligence) and the culture is slowly changing.

By Dana doing this, he gave the "ok" for fighters to go ahead and report injuries and get them taken care of properly instead of traveling south of the border. Remember those cards a few years ago that were decimated?

Even with the health insurance coverage, fighters are still fighting with some problems.  Nate Diaz scolded Pettis and said he fought hurt.  Others have also mentioned that they fought despite some issues.  Pulling out of big fights is something that everyone tries to avoid.

So, I am not accusing anyone of anything.  Quite the opposite.

As my strapping young Brother has pointed out so elegantly...Injuries are an unfortunate aspect of this young culture we call Mixed Martial Arts.

No way, Anik's to smart to do something genius like this and then give the game away by posting how genius it on his wall ... that would be too obvious. Plus, Anik's reaction to ol' Bernard's first comment was too spontaneous.

I can confirm that it's somebody that has already posted on his wall. That person's post is 9th from the top.

Looks like @Bill is taking it in stride and it's pretty good natured. 

But if the community starts going crazy with impersonation accounts we'll need to stop it.  So don't you all go getting crazy ideas of making a new one of these every day.
