Awesome interview, i really didn't know much about Santiago and his perspectives toward fighting. I think it'll be a great fight with Stann.

Good one. This is an interesting fight with Stann.  You would think the UFC is looking to keep building Stann into a star. But I think I side with Santiago in this fight. Maybe I'm missing something.

good read, im glad Santiago is finally getting some recognition in the US, he was also interviewed on MTV2 at bellator last saturday also. His last couple fights in Sengoku were amazing, some of the best fights of the year with Misaki and Khalidov. I think his first stint in the UFC, against Belcher and Leban who at the time were also young and building up their names, Santiago clearly didnt take those fights seriously and the outcomes clearly explain that. Stann is a beast and i really like him, but right now i think Santiago is one of the best middle weights in the world

They both like to bang, the problem is Stann bangs alittle harder! Santiago's fights in Sengoku were amazing though....just against different caliber fighters. Stann is a beast, he made Leban look like a child.

This is gonna be a tough one for me to pick...went and watched some of Santiago's fights and have liked what I saw...Stann however is a beast and looks like he's gonna make a nice run here and I'm a huge fan of his...has the makings of an exciting fight!

Sweet interview.  Sucks to keep hearing about Japanese MMA promotions going under.  Up until reading this interview I was thinking Brian Stann would win this upcoming fight, but now I feel more inclined to go with Santiago.  I'm interested to see just how good he is because he really hasn't gotten much exposure.
