Better pure grappling is what I would call it.

At first I thought I misread the line, then I thought maybe Weidman being a fav isn't too bad, he's beaten Sakara and Maia and is 8-0. On the ground there's no telling maybe Weidman could have the edge but standing up Munoz has the power and Weidman has the reach. For some reason I think this could be his mini coming out party Munoz is good but so far Weidman can be better...and he has time to prepare...Plus, has Munoz ever been truly impressive? Weidman takes three or four rounds (I hate choosing winners for these 5 rounders!)

Weidman subbing Munoz is not going to happen period. When Munoz fought Maia a lot of that fight was on the ground and Munoz was easily defending Maia's sub attempts. I think this fight ends two ways.......Weidman split decision or Munoz by some brutal ground n pound. Should be an awesome fight.

Can Weidman put Munoz on his back - that is the question.

I know Weidman can pull through. Of course Munoz won't be easy at all, and he is dangerous, but he has yet to look impressive and I don't see him fighting for the title. Weidman is on his way up and to me seems like a guy who will do great things. He's sort of a question mark but he has potential and he knows if he shines he'll be right there in Sonnen/Belfort/title territory.

WHat's with this Javascript stuff, it happened to me, too. Anyway, i rally want to see Weidman at his best, his potential is lookin' good and he's been game against Sakara/Maia even though he was unprepared vs Maia (though the fight was in no way notable, he still got it)

I can't ******* wait for this fight!

I really like Munoz but Weidman is a savage!

I think his insane wrestling combined with his sick BJJ ala Matt Serra will combine perfectly and he'll get the sub at some point.

Not too exited for this fight, I haven't been impressed with Munoz or Weidman as of late; anyway I think Weidman is going to gas like he did against Mia and Munoz will get a late TKO stoppage

How would your cardio be cutting 31 pounds in less then 2 weeks? Too judge Weidman's cardio off of his fight with Maia is a mistake...Weidman took a last minute fight and beat a top MW and this time with the full camp he'll be beating a top 5 MW!

Weidman could very well be the MW champ by the end of 2013. This is a huge fight for him.

I keep going back and forth on this fight. Munoz has a suspect chin, and Weidman has suspect cardio. Munoz has the experience, but Weidman trains with a very good camp, as does Munoz. For now, I'm picking Munoz by decision, but it could easily be changed to go in favor of Weidman. No matter what, it's a tough fight to pick.

I dont see why people keep saying he has a suspect chin. He got caught flush on the jaw with a head kick from a big LHW lol i still got Weidman via decision tho

true that trae, Matt Hamill's ******* massive I think Munoz has a decent chin. And Weidman doesn't have suspect cardio, he cut 25 pounds in like 2 weeks give the guy a break.
