Hopefully Santos does not make the same mistake as Big Nog. Santos has 85% takedown defence - with that he's going to pick apart Mir on the outside and eventually land the finishing shot.

This is going to be one of the best heavyweight fights this year. Dos Santos, one of the most dangerous strikers in the world up against Mir, the monster of submission. I see a tough fight for the both of them but Mir will manage to pull Junior into submission to be champion once again.

I picked mir either way. Hes a hard match up for anyone in the division and while his chin isnt the best its not terrible either. If he loses i think he does better than most of the jds fans are thinking he will.

I really like both guys but i think mir takes this one.

JDS should do exactly what he did to Carwin, don't even give him the chance to shoot. Footwork and jabs. One clean jab lands and Mir is rocked, then Junior just needs to finish the job.

This is going to be a lot closer of a match than people are thinking. Say whatever you want to about Mir, but he's 7-2 in his last 9 fights and he's got a very, very good ground game for a Heavyweight. That said, I still say Cigano wins this fight, but it won't be easy at all.
