Yes Morrell’s belt is a secondary title to Canelo’s super super middleweight championship for the WBA.

Yup, sure is. Its a dumbass WBA Regular belt!!!
Canelo is the actual WBA World Champion.
WBA are the worst of the 4 major sanctioning bodies, (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF)
In every division WBA have a Super(the actual World Champion) a Regular, a Gold and some Interim too!!!!
It's so ****** dumb!!!! It makes being a World Champion less special and confuses the hell outta everyone. I follow boxing religiously and I get confused so a regular fan won't have a clue who the actual no. 1 World Champion is.
Anyway, despite the ******** title, David Morrell is a great boxer. He is definitely a threat to the top of the division.
