DEEP TOKYO IMPACT WAVE 5 was a Japanese MMA event that took place on May 18th at the Shinjuku FACE venue in Tokyo, Japan.

The card's main attraction was the second round of the DEEP Lightweight Grand Prix which featured a series of fights such as Yoichi Fukumoto defeating Juri Ohara by split decision, Naoto Miyazaki defeating Ken Hamamura by unanimous decision, Ryosuke Togashi defeating LUIZ by knockout in just 17 seconds of the opening round and Yutaka Ueda defeating Sadao Kondo by unanimous decision. 

 
The event also a DEEP Lightweight Grand Prix reserve bout between Yoichi Fukumoto and Hideto Kondo which saw Fukumoto successfully defeat Kondo by unanimous decision. 

 
Aside from the DEEP Lightweight Grand Prix, the card also featured various other fights such as Takada Corporation's TV personality, entertainer and comedian Oyaki's mixed martial arts debut in which he successfully defeated Wakadanna by unanimous decision.
