they didn’t bring back the WBA gold title. Romero the WBA title holder is in recess with injury. Barroso won the Gold title in 2019 so he was in line for title shot since then. The fishy stoppage with the Romero/Barroso has granted the latter another title chance if he can win this interim title. The WBA made a 36 yr old wait 4-5 years for a real title shot. BS to say the least

I'm aware of the whole Barroso situation but the WBA Gold title still exists as there were two fights for the title last month. Uwel Hernandez vs. Juan Rodolfo Juarez and Firat Arslan vs. Edin Puhalo. Listed both on Tap, Boxrec and the WBA website.

Just read, “Ohara Davies vs Ismael Barroso has been postponed due to visa delays and so now won't take place on the Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte undercard on Saturday night…”

That’s unfortunate. Was hoping to see Ismael Barroso get the win after being so horribly robbed last time
