@cash, im not saying he's inocent, im not saying the fight will happen, im saying theres a reason they take b samples. i know its rare but contaminations and mistakes happen. you publish like this early and if the b sample shows lab **** up was the case that dosnt get the same headline. in peoples minds the fighter becomes 'probably on steriods, because he did have that close a call that time'. reputation tarnished forever for what could be as simple as a tech got distracted at the wrong second, presumed theyd already ejected and replaced their pippette tip, inadvertently reused it - my final year project was in a bacterial molecular genetics lab that had a squirrel that liked to come to the window, i cross contaminated things all the time because of that adorable little bastard

B samples are important but he hasnt actually tested positive for any drug, his ratio is high which as @wilflet stated earlier could mean a bunch of different things. Drugs is the easiest most likely answer but its not a certain thing yet.

This test doesn't mean ****. He has no license to fight in Nevada so suspension comes only under recommendation. He will fight still, and it looks like he was brighter than everyone gave him credit for. I mean lets be honest everyone knows he's on the juice this test was just about credibility.

@brad no is saying he didnt or hasnt. Im saying he hasnt test positive for any drug yet. They need to cir test for that to see if there is anything. Who knows, it COULD be natural, it could be an epitest deficiency, it could be a tainted sample.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Oh wait thats right with sensationalized media, no repercussion reporting, and actual research at an all time low, no one cares they just want a headline.

great point Pierce..it seems pretty irresponsible that pretty much every site is calling it a "failed drug test"...even with the issues before the Lesnar fight people were saying he failed a test without even knowing what his meeting with the AC was about

I just asked Bloody Elbow to provide the FAILED DRUG TEST they keep referencing, lets see what happens.

@lopati good on ya @cash thanks. I want to be updated on the situation to see what actually happens but all the ******** poor reporting on this subject is just disheartening.

Overeems t/e ratio was super high but they havent shown any specific drug in anything ive been able to find.

I can't find a single thing that says anything other than Overeem has elevated levels of testosterone.

Nobody has a test or any other factual evidence that states anything else.

Brad, I think its just that we are waiting for facts rather than speculation. There is a reason The Bloody Elbow isn't replying when I ask them point blank to provide the FAILED DRUG TEST they keep referencing. They DONT HAVE ONE.

@brad it could be easily explained by having naturally low epitestosterone which would **** up the ratio as much as synthetic testosterone.

While i agree the evidence does point one way, im not willing to throw a fighter under the bus just because he has a build im envious of. He hasnt failed a test before having fought for years and in the states on multiple occasions.

innocent until proven guilty. Until there is a test for specific drugs he isnt guilty of anything except having a high test/epitest ratio.

Oh and just to be clear there is cases mentioned in the link i provided back a page or three that said natural ratios have been found as high as 10-1...
