@Wishishere If your fighting above sea level you should know that and train for it, A big part of being a professional fighter is traveling... His cardio needs to improve.... If Dos Santos or Velasquez went 3 rounds in that climate, they would not be the way Hunt was. Believe me.

I like Mark Hunt, I've always liked Mark Hunt.  But anyone who thinks Hunt-Dos Santos is more interesting than Mir-Dos Santos needs to rewatch Hunt-Rothwell.  Or any of his 6 straight losses.

Dos Santos is # 1.  Hunt isn't in the top ten.  For a reason.

the thing that I find confusing about all this is:  Since when did someone have to ask for their "B" sample to be ran. Testing agencies are always supposed to test both anyway.

Mark Hunt is the champion the UFC deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

Dammit. I really wanted to see JDS vs. Reem. One of the fights I had been hoping would align for quite a long time.

Give Mir the shot at JDS, have Hunt or Werdum step in against Cain. Make it happen, Dana.

There are only a few fights that make sense for a replacement. Mir, bring Barnett over from Strikeforce, or a rematch with Cain. The rematch with Cain just wouldn't make much sense at this point and time. I seriously doubt that DW will bring Barnett over from Strikeforce, so it looks like Mir should be getting a phone call in a couple of days. Unless by some miracle, Overeem's B-sample passes.

lets just schedule Big Nog vs JDS

This is the fight people want to see.  Mentor vs Pupil  Book that in Rio and watch the place go crazy.

@Lopati

that fight is never going to happen.

who do you think trains JDS?
Big Nog has also said he would never fight for the title as long as JDS holds it

obviously i grasp that since i said, "mentor vs pupil."  It was a joke. I know they won't fight even if they should fight they wouldn't, pretty weak.

If you want to play team sports there is a soccer field down the street from where they train.  You fight to win world championships, if you're not fighting to win Straps at that level your wasting your time and a roster spot.  This is one area I agree with Dana in.

Honestly would not be opposed to Fedor/Cain and JDS/Mir.  It's wishful thinking but I doubt Dana would swallow his PRIDE and sign Fedor.  See what I did there? Sorry bad jokes.  Anyway, I wonder who Cain will get if they move Mir up.

Overeem should try the Ryan Braun defense and question the credibility of the guy that took the sample.
