Pantoja vs. Erceg
Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R2
Pantoja getting fresh blood is fun but this is a big test too soon in ercegs career and too soon considering he just fought i understand he took no damage but pantoja will be the much fresher fighter here erceg makes mistakes when he fights and over exerts himself at times when he shouldnt pantoja is going to get the takedown and when he does erceg will not get up i see a very similar situation to the first fight with royval where they scrambled and pantoja ended up getting the rear naked choke

If illegal streaming wasn’t a thing I wouldn’t watch this event, this event shouldn’t be anywhere near $70, it’s still most likely be a good card, But beside Aldo retirement fight, nothing I want to spend money on

Pretty much, even the co-main. Jose lost to Merab ok done, you lost to a (probably) future champ and at the least a good fighter. But he comes back for what? Legacy I guess. This card is just kind of a mess with the co-main being something it shouldn’t and the at #10 fighter in the main but yea it’s kinda sad we get this card after 300 but that’s not gonna stop me from watching it.

Smith vs. Petrino
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2
Anthony Smith spends more time at this point at the desk then he does training vitor is young hungry hits like a truck and has takedowns hes winning this fight anywhere it will actually go smith only would have a chance if vitor gasses but smith will eat too many big shots get taken down and eat more ground shots

I 100% agree. I initially thought when announced it was a walkover for Pantoja, but after taping and digging into it, I think Erceg has a good shot. People forget he is a much more accomplished grappler than a striker, so if he can avoid the ground (or just hold his own) with Pantoja, I think he can light him up on the feet.

1. Gambling is making all of you really stupid. Pantoja is going to dog walk Erceg.

2. Poatan vs. Ankalaev should get announced soon unless Magomed is going to straight up duck Poatan and a title shot. Poatan had written into his 300 main event contract that he gets to fight on this card, no questions asked, if he's healthy enough after 300 to fight. So for everyone complaining about the quality of this card, just remember a 2nd title fight could (should) be added very soon.

Poatan won’t be fighting on this card lol, not sure where you got it was written into his contract that he would turn around; all he said was he wanted to fight on the card if possible. He broke his toe two weeks before the hill fight, I doubt he will get cleared to go again in may

@ayy

Predictions: 10 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 680 Points   |   Tied for 1541st

I heard it from Poatan like literally every major MMA outlet who reported on it. No one confirmed it because the only person who can would be somebody like Dana/Hunter/Sean. The only person who's said anything at all otherwise is Jamahal Hill, who wouldn't know for sure anyway. His response was literally "lol cmon bro the UFC doesn't do that". He has literally no idea.

So he broke his toe 2 weeks before 300 but can't be cleared to fight in May? How does that make sense? I have no idea if such a clause actually ever existed, but I see absolutely 0 reason why Poatan can't fight on this card.

The UFC should definitely be trying to make that fight happen, because this card sucks.

This card is great, not the best name value but lots of good matchups. There should be a lot of wars and finishes

I can guarantee poatan won’t fight on this card, ufc likely never even considered him turning around. He’s gonna fight ankalaev on the next Abu Dhabi card
