Gangster and thug do not equal "real". At least, not where I'm from. People with a good amount of intelligence who perform helpful tasks towards their community are most defintely "real".

Diaz is just some socially awkward, undignified, stoner.

Nick Diaz couldn't submit a wrestler if they started the fight in a triangle.

xbasssist hates on Diaz but I don't understand why he got neg proped for saying Diaz is not really and the idea you are real if you try to be a caricature of a movie thug and are not real when you are a normal person.

Why the hell I got neg proped though? I'm not fan of Diaz for his personality but I like his fighting style and I belive if he hung out with the right people or got therapy he could be a very cool person. I like the idea he is not restricting himself to mma.
I find it sad that Diaz is one of those fighters that get very agressive about anyone who is not in love with their boy.

Na, you know what makes a real person...someone that doesn't change who they are because of what other little *********s think or want them to be.

GSP doesn't lose his #1 ranking until he loses, moves weightclasses, retires, or doesn't fight this whole year. If he doesn't fight in 2012, I'll take him off my Top 10 ranking.

@nik oh it doesn't but when someone likes to just point out how one person is doing something without and evidence of it it does kinda show that said person isn't the sharpest knife.

Everyone around here knows that I hate the Diaz brothers (though out of the two, I think Nate is more tolerable.)  However, my reasons for picking GSP over Diaz go deeper than just disliking Nick Diaz.  I just don't see which dimension of fighting Diaz has the clear ability to win.  St. Pierre isn't going to stand there and let Diaz pitter-patter him to death like so many others have in the past.  Also, GSP's wrestling and athleticism will give Diaz problems, whether the fight goes to the ground or not.  St. Pierre also comes in shape, so even though Diaz has outstanding conditioning, I don't think GSP is going to gas enough for Diaz to capitalize on some mistake.  GSP is just a world class athlete who is constantly improving, and I think he is better at every aspect of MMA, with the exception if Jiu-Jitsu.  However, I think his grappling is good enough to nullify Diaz's submission game.

Also, there is absolutely NO logic or sense in dropping GSP from the #1 spot.  He suffered an injury and has already undergone the recovery process, so until his absence extends to a ridiculous degree, I think it's just plain old stupid to take him off the #1 spot that he has rightfully earned and defended several times.
