Predictions: 5 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 350 Points   |   Tied for 2668th

Emmett vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, SUB, R2
This is an absolute banger of a fight. Both men bring the action and have some of the most power at 145. Ilia having a more pressure based style while Emmett is content to counter and wait for his opportunities for the most part. What Emmett lacks is variety in his striking, he mostly makes up for it by being defensively on point and having really good footwork. Ilia’s defense is the main concern here, because he’s got solid head movement but he carries his hands a little low and allows himself to be countered. He’s outstanding when he can land to the body first which I think he will try to do. Emmett does stand his ground well but I see Topuria dropping him before finding a choke of some sort

Tafa vs. Lane
Justin Tafa, TKO, R1
Lmao. Here’s your typical low level heavyweight fight high on the card. At least it’s gonna be fun. Lane is a former NFL defensive end so he has no lack in athleticism or power. However he does not take punches well. He’s been slept a few times against not the best competition. Tafa is like dollar store Mark Hunt. He’s not very fast but he’s powerful and he’s tough. He lacks volume as well but he prefers to look for his shots of the counter. Which I think will land consistently on Lane

Onama vs. Santos
Gabriel Santos, DEC
Absolute banger. Santos is a great prospect. Proven competition on the regional scene and imo beat Lerone Murphy in his debut. Short notice too. He’s good everywhere. Especially on the feet where he’s got a very Chute Boxe esk style. Great variety of strikes as well. What I think he lacks is definitely defense. Onama on the other hand is another solid prospect but he needs some polishing. He carries a lot of naturally power and athleticism, his technique is solid as well. He just needs some more high level experience and learn how to control his gas tank. I think the 1st round will be a brawl where Onama might edge it but Gabriel takes the other 2 with relative ease. Onama will survive though because he is incredibly tough

Allen vs. Silva
Brendan Allen, SUB, R1
Interesting match making here. Blindado came back to form last fight albeit against an old and out of prime Tavares. Allen on the other hand has looked very good since getting KOd by Curtis. Everything looks more polished. He’s managed to keep risks to a minimum and has given himself a 4 fight win streak as a result. He should avoid standup at all costs in this one. Despite having solid striking if he doesn’t get this to floor he might be in trouble. His chin has never been great and always had just ok striking defense. On the mat though this is not close. I see Allen immediately taking it to the mat and finding the finish middle to late 1st round

Magny vs. Rowe
Philip Rowe, TKO, R2
This is more of a hope kind of pick. I’m not confident in Rowe. He loses rounds consistently due to lack of urgency and making silly mistakes. He does manage to find finishes though. Magny is just Magny. He does whatever he needs to do to win. Mostly by just outworking his opponents whether it be in the striking, grappling or both. My hope is that Rowe uses his natural skill and just touches up Magny until finding a finish

There's an argument for basically every underdog on this card. I'd say the only "safe" picks are topuria, randy brown & zhumagulov which is crazy to say someone fighting Emmet is a safe pick 😅

Mariscal is honestly a better opponent than Rodriguez but Peek should smash him. The UFC definitely wants to try to build Peek a little as he develops because hes a fearless brawler who fights crazy violent. If he can slowly develop a little technique he could be a great gatekeeper. He doesn't have the grappling to ever get ranked at LW but I could see him winning a ton of UFC fights.

I definitely think the UFC got him a 5'6 featherweight to fight for a reason. Theyre trying to give him a legit step up in competition while also giving him a very good shot at winning. Chepe has fought a lot of good competition but the results just aren't really there. If he could ever figure out how to make bantamweight I think he'd be a problem.

I can't stress enough how much better of a fight this is than the original booking. Rodriguez got starched by the Monkey King for crying out loud. Peek was going to absolutely murder him. At least now we have a fight that has a decent shot of seeing a 2nd round.

80% confidence in Peek. Mariscal definitely has a shot but I think Peek gets another finish here.

I'm going for a semi-rare play in betting Zhumagulov here at -175. I don't bet moderate/big favorites that often but this line is giving too much respect to Joshua Van imo or maybe too little to Zhalgas.

That's very unfortunate that you have to watch this card at an ungodly hour like 1 am, you have my sympathies.

I agree with you there's definitely some live dogs. I'm actually kind of surprised Radzahabov is a dog.

Silva, Rowe, Jenkins, Van, Rodriguez, Onama and Barber all have a shot IMO.

I like Taira and Emmers a good bit this week but both of their opponents are very skilled, so they have a shot. Gotta do a deeper dive on Van but he looks really good. Santos should win IMO but Onama has some wild power. I do like Phil Rowe and Magny is on the decline but this might be a step up too soon. Silva and Allen is 50/50 because both guys excel at the one thing the other guy has as an achilles heel; Allen is very hard to beat unless you can KO him while Silva has been subbed 6 times.

For featherweights, my top 10 in order goes, 1. Volk 2. Holloway 3. Rodriguez 4. Topuria 5. Allen 6. Ortega 7. Kattar 8. Giga 9. Emmett 10. Evloev. I would have Evloev higher, but he struggled against Lopes and has really bad BJJ tbh. I think everyone ahead of him would expose his lack of submission IQ and defense

I also think that Kattar beat Emmett, so that's why I have him at 7. I have Allen high up because I think he would've beat Kattar regardless of the injury in that last fight cause his pressure looked like it was getting to Kattar

I think Yusuff, Mitchell, Sabatini, and the winner of Lerone Murphy/Joshua Culibao are flirting with the top 10. I would say a couple of those names can replace Emmett and Kattar in my rankings because Emmett is old and coming back from a knee injury and performing at the same level is hard to do. I think Evoloev is going to get better and manage to sneak his way into the top 5, but I think he's going to take a loss or two before that happens

Predictions: 5 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 3169th

Emmett vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, SUB, R2
Maybe Topuria is a little over price, But I think he still wins so i can't bet Emmett either, Topuria has lethal hands, great jiu-jitsu and elite wresling defence, I think it more of a question of KO or Sub, I can see it being a club and sub win for Illa

Ribas vs. Barber
Amanda Ribas, DEC
I think Ribas wins because she a top 5 skilled fighter and Barber isn't that good, Only think I don't like about Ribas is her chin, 2 of her loses was because of it, And she get dropped a bit too much for WMMA, But her skills are very elite, I can see her going on a run simular to Darush, Before getting expose again by a "Charles Oliveria" who can crack,

Tafa vs. Lane
Justin Tafa, TKO, R1
I take Tafa, But you can easily talk me into betting Lane because it's 2 ****** heavyweight

Onama vs. Santos
Gabriel Santos, DEC
Gabriel Santos should of beaten Lerone Murphy and Lerone Murphy is realy good fighter, Expecting a wresling clinic

Allen vs. Silva
Bruno Silva, TKO, R1
Thinking this can be a trap fight, Allen isn't a wresler, He's record for takedown is 2 in a fight, And unless it the Jabroni that showed up for the GM3 fight, I can see him sleeping Allen

Magny vs. Rowe
Neil Magny, DEC
I like Magny, Don't like how he has comeback wins over his mid opponent and now is having a decent size stepup in compution

Brown vs. Turman
Randy Brown, TKO, R2
Randy Brown most likely wins because he better, But I also kinda notice Brown fight are ususlly closer then they should be

Rębecki vs. Radzhabov
Mateusz Rębecki, DEC
Don't know, Wasn't too impress with Rebecki, But he a midget who an good wresler, and Radz whole game is he's a wresling, Might take Rebecki in ****** stiking fight

Ricci vs. Robertson
Tabatha Ricci, DEC
I take Ricci because she the better wresler, Think both are pretty spastic stiking, And both are elite jiu-jitsu, I just don't belive in bottom jiu-jitsu and the girl on top will win,

Zhumagulov vs. Van
Joshua Van, TKO, R1
Taking Van with **** all confendence, just not picking the guy who a 35 year old flyweight, who 1-5 in the UFC(one of the worst record in the UFC), Might get screwed here

Peek vs. Mariscal
Trevor Peek, TKO, R1
Most likely just be a meme, So i pick Peek

Emmers vs. Jenkins
Jamall Emmers, DEC
Think Emmers is a live dog, Think Emmers is pretty skilled, He could be undefeted in the UFC with wins over Giga and Sabatini if he had a better brain(those two loses was fight iq issue not skill issue),Also beat Sandhagen, Taking Emmer because he the better fighter, Won't be suprise if Jack wins because he's the smarter fighter

Taira vs. Rodrigues
Tatsuro Taira, SUB, R2
Hyped for Taira, Entating young prospect, One of the few good asain fighter out they're

Brundage vs. Dumas
Cody Brundage, TKO
I'm tempted to take Dumas because Brundage is fighting to close togerther, But I'm not taking a fighter in Dumas who has no cardio(1 round), All to do is survive a minute and he wins

Prove them wrong 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Ilia look better when fight with better figther, each fight he looks better, Bryce look like amateur with Topuria and is one of the best grapplers of the division, Ilia is more than people see now.

And stay in my opinion, the only that can stop Ilia in these division is Volk. I love Holloway, but these style is a gift for Topuria, you dont can stay with Topuria 25 minuts, he kill you, and the Max style not can stop Ilia. And the others of the top… What? Yair? Zonbie? Ortega? Allen? Not joke me, these guys are easy job for Topuria and Emmet the same, Emmet only caught these fight for the money, is the bigest payday in her live, but not have any options.
