I wouldn’t say smokes hooper, but he should definitely win. Going up a weight class doesn’t change the fact hooper was getting tossed around at 145 & has the build of a pre teen

I’ll say this, Hooper can take a ******* shot lol, the only thing is now he’s going to be getting hit by a Lightweight this time not a featherweight.

Dern vs. Hill
Angela Hill, DEC
On paper this seems like a fight where Dern finds her way to the ground and secures a sub. However I don’t think that’s what will happen. Number 1 think that Mackenzie’s wrestling is awful and hasn’t improved over the course of her career. Her striking has improved a little bit but still isn’t impressive. Secondly is Hill has gotten better with defending on the mat. I understand that Jandiroba fight wasn’t a good look but Dern doesn’t have those kinds of takedowns. I just see this as a fight where Dern gets out pointed for 3/5 rounds and loses a decision

Shahbazyan vs. Hernandez
Anthony Hernandez, SUB, R2
Fun fight here. The odds are very much off but I see this as a great test for both men to see where they are at. Edmen got exposed in his losses but got that needed win against Dalcha in his last fight. However I don’t think that will stop Hernandez from securing takedowns and beating Edmen up on the ground. Fluffy’s game is too grind you out on the mat and if he survives the first 5 minutes he should be in business

Ducote vs. Godinez
Emily Ducote, DEC
Honestly I just can not trust Godinez. Her last 2 fights have been very disappointing for where she was considered to be at. I like that she’s active but she can’t really put it all together physically or mentally. She never has any sort of coherent strategy or anything to maximize her talent. Ducote isn’t amazing but I think she can manage to win a close decision

Fialho vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
This seems like a very simple pick. Andre has gotten exposed his last 2 as a guy who’s entertaining and powerful but only for about 1.5 rounds before shutting down and getting dominated. Salikov absolutely pummeled him with ease because he was just a sitting duck. Buckley has that kind of power on top of having much better cardio

Johnson vs. Ferreira
Diego Ferreira, SUB, R2
Gotta go with Diego here. Mainly because I think this is where MJs famous lack of consistency shows up after a few good performances

Kowalkiewicz vs. Demopoulos
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, DEC
Not much in the way of analyzing here. Gonna be a long 15 minutes for everyone watching

Fialho vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R1
I think Buckley’s chin & power rating is higher than Fialho’s. Does anyone have insight of Buckley’s welterweight capabilities? Has he ever fought there, tried sparring there?

Johnson vs. Ferreira
Diego Ferreira, SUB, R2
Even though Ferreira has been gone for long, I think he is closer to his top form than Johnson who is a shadow of the shadow he was few years back.

 Edmen Shahbazyan      vs.   Anthony Hernandez

I see quite a few members are perplexed as to why Edmen is such a heavy dog here. Open up baby birds, here comes Daddy with a nightcrawler:

Shahbazyan has lost three of his last five fights, and the two of those he was won have come over Dalcha Lungiambula who is an unskilled brawling greenhorn ( 1-6 in his last 7) and Brad Tavares, who is a gatekeeper with a history of losing to better strikers, which is probably about 75% of everyone he's booked against especially in the last several years.

Edmen tends to get out struck and outworked in fights he loses, and his recovery rate from pressure or bad situations is poor, his chin is brittle. If he's forced to work for even half a round, his cardio tanks, and he looks like a seventy year old with terminal COPD walking backwards against an escalator. This is not true of Hernandez, who was able to overcome his back being taken, and full mount by Viera who is incalculably better in the BJJ department than Edmen, to come back, put on a striking clinic and win by sub. He's only been subbed once, against Perez which is admittedly odd.I've not seen that fight but I expect it was a club n' sub. Or some seventh-circle secret of the order of the golden mongoose **** that Perez pulls out off his ass occasionally.

If there's any amount of heavy-breathed nipple rubbing in this fight either on the feet or on the floor, Edmen is going to gas. Hernandez has never lost by Dec. Edmen has. Look at all of Shahbazan's win; they've mostly come in R1 or two. He's almost never won by dec. The longer fights go on, the more likely he is to lose, and Hernandez is hard to put away.

Should he be +245? Eh. That might be a bit generous, but yeah, he should definitely be the dog.

typing a lot of words doesn't mean you know what you're talking about

"edmen tends to get outstruck" - who has outstruck edmen?

"his chin is brittle" - he has never been chinned, rocked badly or knocked down in the ufc, his TKO losses are him getting ground and pounded while being exhausted and the ref finally stepping in which is something completely unrelated to his chin durability

"hernandez put on a striking clinic" - hernandez has never put on a striking performance that can be classified as "clinical" and it definitely shouldn't be classified as such against someone as bad as rodolfo vieira who was getting badly battered on the feet against cody brundage (lol) not too long ago.

like i've said in the past, your post makes it obvious that you don't really watch MMA. you saw a couple of TKO losses on Edmen's record and instantly assumed that he got outstruck and rocked in those fights, lol. you're talking about Hernandez putting on a "striking clinic" but fail to mention that very very frequently he gets caught by basic, dumb and unnecessary shots on the feet in his fights and that he walks forward with his chin hanging up in the air and his body wide open to be kicked, spots that Edmen can very very easily exploit. you're talking about Edmen having been outstruck and and having displayed a brittle chin in the UFC, two things that have literally NEVER HAPPENED.

the reality here is that this fight should be close to a pick' em in betting odds. the bookies aren't accounting for the fact that on top of Edmen being one of the most naturally gifted and talented strikers in the UFC, he has also made the move to Xtreme Couture which is a camp notorious for taking in fighters that are raw and talented and tuning up their grappling, gameplanning and cardio issues. Edmen baiting Hernandez into a shot and sniping him up as he's marching forward into a TKO win is just as likely as Hernandez outpacing Edmen and breaking him via grappling in the later rounds because of the very obvious weakness Edmen has shown in the cardio and grappling department in the past

whoever thinks Hernandez at -320 against Edmen is a price worth paying for, this message is for you: PLEASE GIVE UP ON BETTING, STOP DONATING YOUR MONEY TO BETTING SITES.

did you read my post? I specifically pointed out all the inaccuracies, plus "he should definitely be the dog" translates into Edmen being at least +200 which again is a price that makes no sense

No it doesn’t, being a dog is +100 or more,  +200 is a big dog price , you look like your trying to be mad at nothing
