I'm not sure the move up for Jon will do him any favors. Ciryl is bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic than Reyes or Thiago Santos who honestly made Jon look very beatable/actually beat him, depending on who you ask. Francis used his mutant strength and size to force Ciryl down but Jon won't have those advantages. Sure he has more skill than Francis but that didn't save him without the size advantage. I'm seeing Ciryl by split decision - because god forbid Jon actually loses a fight properly. But I think both guys last 5 rounds regardless. Other than that it's a fun but fairly predictable card with top draw prospects and contenders being fed very winnable fights. And Grasso is a step down for Valentina after beating Santos.

Whatever outright strength advantage Ngannou had that helped him wrestle Gane for 25 minutes will be more than made up for in skill for Bones. The game plan on how to beat Gane is clear as day.

Can only imagine how much grappling strategy Cejudo has been drilling into Bones' head. Meanwhile, Gane is giving interviews talking about how lazy he is and that he basically doesn't even train unless he has a fight booked.

Bones by decision.

Jon Jones continued success is proof to the spiritual types that karma doesn't exist. I would like to see him lose but I can't imagine he will. Jones by DEC.

What about the teller? Is he legit?
Have you got a beef with him or something? I remember in a vid where he was at some point being critical about the
tapology community or the rankings or something like that but i didn't pay attention.

Jon Jones is a pretty competitive fighter. As far as I know, he has won 26 matches and lost I guess 1. So high hopes for the champ.

I think Brunson is going to cause Du Plessis problems. Obviously Du Plessis has good power and has submissions in his arsenal but from what I can tell he's never fought a wrestler of Brunson's calibre. Big test and should be a fun fight.

Basharat seems like a lock most likely a DEC. Blackshear was able to survive being subbed by Danny Sabatello.

I'd be more interested in a prop bet on whether Jones can get through the weekend without a failed drug test or doing some stupid **** to get arrested.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 3 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 5115th

Jones vs. Gane
Jon Jones, DEC
I see a carefull Jones winning another decision or late submission. No way he Ko's Gane, but I really haven't been impressed by Gane "natural talent" he got exposed in the Francis fight, Tuivisa fight and the guy says himself lacks motivation to train. Jones rawdogs him.

Neal vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R1
R1 Sub Shavkat, 16-0 ( 16 finishes speaks for itself)

Pickett vs. Nickal
Bo Nickal, TKO, R1
1st round KO.

Brunson vs. Du Plessis
Derek Brunson, TKO, R1
Nah Du Plessis is overated asf, barely won aggainst Taveras and I had Dricus in a huge as parlay that hit. Then Darrent choked a chance to finish this guy. Brunsen has hands and hits harder then Tavares made Du Plessis feeling light.

Machado Garry vs. Song
Ian Machado Garry, TKO, R2
Gabe Green fight was fun to watch, Gabe really had a good game plan but Garry was so much better, Garry reallly impressed me and showed his fight IQ is top tier. I think he gets a finish here. please note that this fight feels like a mismatch because the diffrence in Gabe Green and Song is miles appart. but hey, can't complain Garry by finnish round 2.

Basharat vs. Blackshear
Farid Basharat, DEC
Younger brother by decision as he tends to struggle aggainst sligltly bigger guys. So Farid is a lock, you know me I don't like to call DNWC's fighters a lock, but Faris is defintly one.

Radzhabov vs. Ribovics
Loik Radzhabov, DEC

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 490 Points   |   Tied for 4755th

Jones vs. Gane
Jon Jones, TKO, R2
PRELIM PICK HERE. GANE WILL HAVE THE WITTS, SPEED, AND SKILLS TO KEEP THIS CLOSE FIGHT. BUT JONES WILL LIKELY LAND SOMETHING "CONTROVERSIAL" ITD AND HURT GANES KNEE....

Shevchenko vs. Grasso
Alexa Grasso, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. THIS FIGHT WILL BE CLOSER THAN MANY WANT TO THINK. ITLL LIKELY BE A GREASY DECISION WITH A FEW CLOSE ROUNDS AND IM LEANING GRASSO FOR AN ALL TIME SPLIT DEC.

Neal vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R1
PRELIM PICK HERE. THIS IS A SUBSTANTIAL STEP UP AS STRIKING GOES FOR SHAVKAT. BUT I STILL BELEIVE THE WRESTLING WILL BE WAY TOO MUCH FOR GEOFF.

Gamrot vs. Turner
Jalin Turner, TKO, R2
PRELIM PICK HERE. MATEUSZ HAS EXCELLENT WRESTLING AND ENOUGH STRIKING WITTS TO HANG IN THE TOP TEN. BUT JALIN IS THE BOOGYMAN RIGHT NOW. CALL HIM A WEIGHT BULLY OR WHATEVER BUT THIS SPEED, REACH, AND DECENT GROUND GAME WILL BE ENOUGH TO SHOCK MATEUSZ. ITLL LOOK COMPETITIVE EARLY BUT ONCE JALIN LANDS A CLEAN HOOK ITS GOING TO BE DOWNHILL FOR GAMROT.

Pickett vs. Nickal
Bo Nickal, SUB, R1
PRELIM PICK HERE. BO NICKAL IS THE TRUTH, THIS IS A BIG STEP UP FROM CONTENDER SERIES BUT NO CAMP FOR PICKETT WILL PREPARE HIM FOR THE WRESTLING DIFFERENTIAL THAT WILL BE COMING HIS WAY EARLY.

Garbrandt vs. Jones
Trevin Jones, TKO, R2
PRELIM PICK HERE. THIS IS THE SAD RETIREMENT FIGHT FOR NO LOVE. WISH YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND SAVE HIS CHIN FOR THE FANS SAKE BUT ITS GONE.

Brunson vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. DEREK BRUNSON HAS BROKEN MY HEART SO MANY TIMES BUT I CANT BELIEVE HE HAS THE FIRE IN HIM TO COMPETE ANYMORE. COULD BE SO WRONG HERE

Araujo vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. AMANDA WAS ROBBED BLIN DIN HER LAST FIGHT WITH CHOOK. COULD FLIP SIDES HERE LATER IN THE WEEK BUT MY HEAD SAYS AMANDA WILL DOMINATE THIS FIGHT FOR 15 MIN.

Marquez vs. Barriault
Julian Marquez, SUB, R2
PRELIM PICK HERE. DONT CARE MUCH ABOUT THIS FIGHT. TWO INCONSISTENT FIGHTERS.

Machado Garry vs. Song
Ian Machado Garry, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. GOD BLESS GARRYS MANAGER. GIVING THIS KID A GREAT PATH FOR SUCCESS AND TRACTION.

Martinez vs. Saaiman
Cameron Saaiman, SUB, R1
PRELIM PICK HERE. CAMERON SHOULD BE A GREAT SUCCESS FOR THE UFC. GOOD FIGHT FOR HIM HERE TO CONTINUE ON A SUCCESSFUL PATH.

Penne vs. Ricci
Tabatha Ricci, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. DONT CARE MUCH ABOUT THIS FIGHT. RELATIVELY EQUAL SKILL SETS. MAYBE RICCI CAN FIND BETTER SKILLS ON THE GROUND.

Basharat vs. Blackshear
Farid Basharat, DEC
PRELIM PICK HERE. GENUINELY LIKE WHAT I HAVE SEEN FROM XTREME COUTURE THE PAST FEW YEARS. NOT A WALK IN THE PARK FOR EITHER FIGHTER AND FARID HAS TO MIND HIS TD DEFENSE AND GROUND GAME HERE.

Radzhabov vs. Ribovics
Esteban Ribovics, TKO, R2
PRELIM PICK HERE. KNO WZERO ABOUT EITHER FIGHTER ON TAPE. BUT ON TAPE THIS LOOKS LIKE ZERO FAVORS FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF LOIK.
